Duvvada Jagannadham Tickets to Cost Double

“DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” is to hit the screens on the 23rd June 2017. The audio launch is scheduled for 10th June 2017. There is some interesting news pertaining to the tickets rates of the film. Industry sources reveal that tickets of the film will be doubled.Exhibitors and distributors are considering doubling the ticket prices for the first one week. The buyers of the theatrical rights invested very heavily for the same. The cascading effect of that is that the distributors have invested heavily and in turn so have the exhibitors. This is forcing the trade to consider doubling ticket rates.

The fact is that “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” is the first big budget and high profile film to hit the big screens after “Bahubali – The Conclusion”. All the others that came in between were only low or medium budget films. “Rarandoi Veduka Chudham”, “Radha”, “Keshava” and the latest “Ami Thumi” were all medium budget films only. This is why tickets for Allu Arjun’s film will cost twice the normal fare during the first week.
