The best success formula our Tollywood by-hearted in last few years is ‘Higher the Number of Opening Theatres – Higher will be the Chances of Producers Recovery.’ All the top heroes are following it and Telugu cinema first day opening collections are competing with National level marketed Hindi films. In this year, ‘Badrinath’ is considered to be the best opener and one man set the direct target on it is Mahesh Babu with his ‘dookudu.’
Producers have confirmed the release date as September 23. Movie will release world wide with highest number of prints ever seen by a Telugu movie. So, Mahesh Babu is to go on a records saga in first week. Of course first target to cross will ‘Badrinath,’ the record opener in this year

Rise of a Superstar

Allu Arjun| allu arjun Fans Blog|Allu arjun Indian Super Stylish Star!
This is not due to a dearth of talent but because of a marked accent on routine; commercial fare that is served only to keep the frontbenchers satisfied. The industry, however,  continues to thrive, largely due to the deep pockets of producers.

Telugu cinema boasts of a good crop of young heroes who can, if offered good scripts, effect a turnaround in the fortunes of the industry. One such leading man, who has been making waves on the commercial circuit, is Allu Arjun. His films are awaited with bated breath by a legion of fans and have had phenomenal runs at the box-office. Allu Arjun, who debuted with a small role in the film Daddy, which had megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, is the grandson of the legendary Telugu comedian, Allu Ramalingaiah, and the son of producer Allu Aravind.

His uncle, Chiranjeevi, has been hailed as the superstar of Telugu cinema and  Ramcharan Teja, Chiranjeevi’s son, whose blockbuster Magadheera was a runaway hit, is his first cousin. Although his latest film Badrinath, one of the costliest films made, was panned by critics, it still rocked the box-office, thanks to the marketing skills of his father Allu Aravind, the producer of the film.

Intense actor

Badrinath saw Allu Arjun play an Indian samurai who has been entrusted with the job of guarding the famous Badrinath Temple. The actor took great pains to essay the role as it required a high degree of martial art skills and in tandem with stunt co-ordinator Peter Heyn, Arjun performed breathtaking stunt sequences with greater prowess in the art acquired in a two month hectic training schedule in Vietnam.

Badrinath also saw him teaming with the petite Tamanna for the first time. The lavishly choreographed dance sequences and the foot tapping music became a rage. The film, however, suffered in comparison to Ramcharan Teja’s Magadheera and though the makers of Badrinath and the director, V V Vinayak, went to great lengths to point out that while Magadheera was a semi-period film, Badrinath was based on a contemporary theme, the damage had been done.

Allu Arjun’s other renowned films include Parugu and Vedam with his intense portrayals in both the films getting him prestigious awards like the Filmfare and Nandi awards.

Nicknamed Bunny by his fans for his role as Bunny in a film of the same name, Arjun has been extremely selective in picking roles and has made it a habit of sorting the chaff from the wheat. He has also taken care not to team with the same heroine in more than one film. Therefore, he has worked with almost all the leading heroines in Tollywood. He worked with Aditi Agarwal in Gangotri, Anu in Arya, Genelia D’Souza in Happy, Hansika Motwani in Desamadhuru, Sheela in Parugu and Kajal Agarwal in Arya 2.

Mass appeal

The actor’s forte has always been his dancing and marital art skills and he has now become a sought after star by producers, especially for such roles. But, despite an adroit selection of roles, the actor has not been able to avoid his share of flops and the failure of films like Varudu left him a little depressed. A film like Vedam, where he worked with the southern siren Anoushka Shetty, however, won him critical acclaim and his role, perfectly nuanced, garnered a lot of appreciation by the discerning audience. Desamadhuru is also one his many praised performances.

Allu Arjun is all set to act in ace director Trivikram Srinivas’ forthcoming venture and is likely to be paired with the Telugu heartthrob, Ileana D’Cruz. Tamil actor Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan, one of the most popular directors in Tamil cinema whose films have been dubbed in Telugu and have been extremely successful at the box-office, has signed him for his new project and his co-star from Vedam, Anoushka Shetty. The grapevine has it that he has also been approached for a Bollywood film to be produced by Yash Raj Films.

Allu Arjun has always been an enigmatic and bankable star. Recently, he broke a million hearts when he settled for matrimony with Sneha Reddy. Like the new breed of actors, Ramcharan Teja and Junior NTR, Allu Arjun is in no hurry to sign on the dotted line every time a film is offered to him. In fact, with his father ready to bankroll all his films and with megastar Chiranjeevi being a constant source of encouragement, the young actor continues to bristle with confidence and appears to be eminently equipped to play a long innings in the Telugu cinema.

Honey Shelved

Allu Arjun, Trivikram combination movie Honey is shelved as of now. Bunny is going to wave green flag for Vasu Varma’s film on Dil Raju banner but not Trivikram after returning from Australia with recovered shoulder injury. There are creative differences between Trivikram and Allu Arjun, so ‘Honey’ is dropped.
Now Trivikram may start working for new project with other heroes. Allu Arjun may do Trivikram’s film, if he rewrites the script.-MM

Confusion Prevails Over Bunny’s Next Film

After Badrinath, it’s a known fact that Allu Arjun is going to star in Trivikram Srinivas’ film. DVV Danayya is going to produce this film which is expected to go on floors either in September or early October. Allu Arjun is currently in Perth, Australia where he’s recovering after undergoing a surgery for his shoulder injury and is expected to come back in couple of weeks. However, there’s still a lot of confusion about the lead heroine in this untitled film.
Few weeks ago, Ileana’s name was doing rounds and there were even rumours that she had slashed her remuneration by a huge amount to bag the film. Now, if the buzz is to be believed, Samantha has a good chance of bagging this role. Recently, when a leading newspaper asked Ileana about this Allu Arjun-Trivikram’s film, she did confess that she has been in talks with Trivikram’s film, however, she hasn’t signed the film yet. Meanwhile, Samantha had agreed to star opposite Naga Chaitanya in Deva Katta’s Autonagar Surya which will go on floors in early October.
So far, neither Allu Arjun, nor Trivikram Srinivas have officially announced details about their upcoming film and the suspense about who might bag the heroine’s role is likely to continue for few more days. Let’s wait and see.

Bunny-Trivikram Combo to Hit Floors in Dec

Presently Allu Arjun is undergoing surgery in Australia for an injury which he sustained during the shooting of Arya-2. Once he recovers and returns to India, he could take part in film shootings.
His forthcoming film in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas and produced by DVV Danaiah on the banner of Universal Media is most likely to hit the floors in December.
The director had decided to wrap up the shooting quickly unlike his earlier films. He is yet to decide on the rest of the star cast and technical crew as there is four months' time.
It is learnt that Arjun's characterisation would be like uber cool guy with a happy go lucky kind of attitude. It is still a question mark whether Ileana or Samanta are playing the heroine in the film.

Bunny in Australia for Surgery

Stylish star Allu Arjun went to Australia for surgery. We all know that during the shoot of Arya 2, actor Allu Arjun got hurt in his shoulders. He was given an immediate treatment for the injury at that time but it seems the treatment was unsuccessful as the pain is still troubling him. After his first treatment at the time of Arya 2, the pain did subside, but again showed up at the time of ‘Badrinath’ movie shooting when Allu Arjun was doing the dance steps. Hence, doctors suggested him to undergo a surgery which is the only option left for him. The actor flied to Perth in Australia on Sunday night, 14th August and will be staying there for more than a month to undergo the surgery. Perth is famous for such kinds of surgeries and that is the reason why Allu Arjun has opted to go for it for the treatment.

Chiranjeevi may be a busy body in politics, but the Megastar's fans do not miss an opportunity to celebrate his birthday in grand style, even if it is in his absence.  However, his absence is usually compensated by the presence of his son and Arjun, who make it to the bashes organised by the fans of the star-turned-politician.
