Allu Arjun’s recent film Sarrainodu fought its way to the top against all odds. That it’s on its way to become the biggest hit ever in Allu Arjun’s career so far needs no reiteration, and the success of the film comes at a crucial juncture for the industry and also the star himself.
Buzz is that Sarrainodu has already become the highest grossing film of 2016 and in the process, it’s expected to be the third film in a row to have crossed the Rs 50 crores (share) mark at the box-office in Allu Arjun’s career. Produced by Allu Arvind under Geetha Arts banner, the film has done exceptionally well at the box-office, particularly in B & C centres and the film is said to have surpassed the lifetime collections of Bunny’s previous film Race Gurram within 10 days, which is no mean feat. According to sources close to the production, the film is on its way to gross close to Rs 100 crores at the box-office.
The entire team of Sarrainodu is going to celebrate the film’s success in a big way and a huge event has been planned Siddhartha Hotel Management College ground in Vijaywada on May 4. Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet, Catherine Tresa, Aadhi, Boyapati Sreenu, Allu Arvind and several others are expected to attend the event.
