Bunny Breaks NTR, Can He Beat Pawan?

Many within film circles are aware of trade techniques used to market the movies aggressively thus boosting the revenue figures when calculating the overall business. Allu Arjun’s ‘Sarrainodu’ opened to mixed talk on day 1 has already broken many records including that of this year’s Pongal releases. This is an achievement for Allu Arjun who is now eyeing a position in Tollywood Top 5.

According to a trade update, ‘Sarrainodu’ has crossed Junior NTR’s last hit ‘Nannaku Prematho’ in just 10 days and is eyeing now on to surpass ‘Race Gurram, Gabbar Singh’ records. In fact, Bunny went so close to Power Star with ‘Race Gurram’ but could not cross it. However, he has over toppled ‘SVSC, Dookudu’ by a decent margin.

While ‘Bahubali, Srimanthudu, Aththarintiki Daaredi, Magadheera’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’ are in Top 5, it remains to be seen how far Allu Arjun and his ‘Sarrainodu’ team can pull Pawan Kalyan from fifth position to sixth. Of course, it would be a dream for every hero to find a place in Top 5 and Bunny is on the way to achieve it. The debate on Geetha Arts editing overall revenue figures is also gaining mileage in market with each day. However some cinema sources commented that every prestigious banner does the same and this isn’t anything new.
