Race Gurram Rocks at the Box-Office

Allu Arjun and Shruti Hassan starrer, ‘Race Gurram’ sets a new record for Allu Arjun. The film gets a fantastic opening at the box-office. The film made an opening day collection of 6.3 crore in Andhra Pradesh. Trade analyst predict over Rs.15 crore in the opening weekend. Is is the highest ever opening for Allu. 

Starring Ravi Kisan, Shruti Hassan, Shaam, Brahmanandam and Saloni Aswani apart from Allu Arjun and directed by Surendar Reddy, ‘Race Gurram’ is reportedly made on a budget of Rs.52 crore. "The film has collected Rs.6.3 crore on its first day in the state. At this rate, it is likely to mint over Rs.15 crore in the opening weekend worldwide," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.

‘Race Gurram’ is expected to give a tough competition to the recent Telugu blockbuster ‘Legend’.

"The summer started on a good note for Telugu filmdom with 'Legend', which has been followed up by 'Race Gurram', which is also turning out to be a hit. The business of these films will predict the roadmap for other big summer releases," he added.
