Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, marking the debut of writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsy hasn’t even gone on to the floors yet, but the satellite rights are already in big demand.
According to a source, the satellite rights have been offered a price of Rs 24 crore that includes Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, with many production houses from Hindi, including Ajay Devgn Entertainment and Zee also joining the competition to grab the rights.
“Allu Arjun is very popular in other languages like Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. So, the satellite rights for his films are always good,” says a source from the production house.
Meanwhile, a few names for the female lead are being circulated, but not yet finalised. “They may go for a new face instead of roping in a regular actress,” adds the source. Allu Arjun is presently working on Duvvada Jagannatham, which is set for release next month.
