Baahubai 2 is currently breaking every possible record in Bollywood during its theatrical run and it is giving shivers to all the Khans and Kapoors there. Now, Stylish Star Allu Arjun too has proved his domination in Bollywood.
As per the latest reports, the Hindi dubbing rights of Bunny's upcoming action entertainer 'DJ' have been acquired for a whopping Rs 7 crore, the maximum amount offered for any non-Baahubali Telugu film. The Hindi version may not have a theatrical release so this staggering amount is paid only for the Hind satellite and digital rights.
Hindi dubbed films of Mahesh, Bunny and NTR have been attracting pan-India audiences for past few years. Bunny's Sarrainodu, S/o Satyamurthy and Race Gurram were big hits with Hindi speaking audiences. These films garnered record TRPs whenever they were telecast on TV.
Considering the popularity of Bunny among North audiences, a prominent filmmaker has now splurged 7 crore for the Hindi dubbing rights of DJ. Said to be a full length action entertainer, DJ is being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju. June 23 is the release date.
Telugu cinema is no more a regional industry and one must thank SS Rajamouli for that.
