Allu Arjun is the latest celebrity to join the list of prominent T-town personalities venturing into production. In partnership with his close friend Bunny Vasu, the 'stylish star' as he is referred to is setting up a production house 'B Batch Productions'. Along expected lines, the venture intends to encourage new film-makers and scripts.
Director Maruti has reportedly bagged the first project on the banner in which Arjun would play the lead role. In recent times, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas have announced a production house followed by directors, Sukumar and Madhura Sridhar.
Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj are already into production and actor Nani has recently picked up stake in D for Dopidi, his first foray into production.
Allu Arjun's father, Aravind is one of the biggies in Tollywood and also the owner of Geetha Arts. Film production is one area where even the best of people have been known to have suffered setbacks. In this context, it remains to be seen whether Allu Arjun would be able to display the same kind of business acumen as his father.
