The shooting of Allu Arjun's Race Gurram is taking place near Charminar in Hyderabad. Director Surender Reddy is filming crucial scenes on the support case in this schedule and is planning to fast wrap up the shoot. Meanwhile the makers are planning to release the movie in February 2014.
Post-production works of the movie are being carried out simultaneously. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan is playing the negative lead in the movie. Thaman providing the musical scores.
