It has surely been a while since Allu Arjun has got a swashbuckling commercial success under his belt even if you consider Julayi to be an exception. While Iddarammayilatho's outcome isn't something that would have boosted his confidence much, but he surely doesn't mind pinning his hopes on the Surender Reddy directed Race Gurram that has the actor paired opposite the Gabbar Singh actress for the first time.
Saloni plays the second lead in this venture that has Bollywood actor Ravi Kishan enacting the antagonist's role. Produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas and Venkateswara Rao, Race Gurram will have a release in February. SS Thaman who hasn't composed for Allu Arjun's films earlier is sure to strike top form too.
After this, Arjun is readying himself for another highly anticipated project that would see him team up with the Attarintiki Daredi maker yet again. Trivikram, whose presentation styles and dialogues have changed according to the times, is now prefering the 'commercial' route to offer entertainment. For now though, the Stylish Star is banking on Surender Reddy's unconventional methods to do the goods for his career.
