As reported by few media agencies yesterday on ‘Sarrainodu’ got off to a poor start in the USA with Thursday night premier shows raking in just $1,90,796; here is the actual reason for such start. Our sources in the USA have reported on ‘Sarrainodu’ suffered with delay in delivery of hard disks which led to cancellation of premiere shows in many locations. Resultantly, only half of the screens blocked for premieres have got their shows on right time.

This is a commonly seen practice in the USA where premieres are put off at last hour due to technical reasons. Though disks are dispatched on time from Hyderabad to various locations in the USA, some unforeseen reasons disturb the Box Office calculations pushing distributors and buyers into chaos.

‘Sarrainodu’ USA revenues on Friday offered enough explanation. ‘If the film carried negative reports, Friday wouldn’t have opened to higher figures than premieres. Thursday special shows collected $1,90,796 while Friday revenues showed improvement with $1,92,613 taking the total to $3,83,409. So, ‘Sarrainodu’ maintained the speed and entered into Top 15 in the USA this week,’ a trade source commented.
