Call it inspiration or just a mere coincidence, but the trailer of the upcoming Hindi film Heropanti has set tongues wagging among Telugu movie goers. Tiger Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff, is all set to make his debut with this film and it also stars Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in Mahesh Babu-starrer 1 Nenokkadine.
Soon after the trailer of Heropanti was launched, some of the scenes left a lot of netizens wondering if the film is a remake of Allu Arjun and Sheela starrer Parugu, which released way back in 2008. While Heropanti is being projected as an intense romantic and action drama,buzz is that the makers of the film have taken key story points from Parugu and weaved a different story to project Tiger Shroff as an action hero.
Incidentally, two years ago, there were rumours that the remake rights of Parugu were sold to a leading production house in Bollywood. However, since then, there has been no buzz about it. The Telugu film had Allu Arjun playing the role of a young guy, who is caught between his love for a girl and immense respect for her father.
