Stylish star Allu Arjun’s recently released movie ‘Race Gurram' collected $842K (Thursday: 102K; Friday: 205K; Saturday: 320K; Sunday: 215K) at the USA Box Office in its opening weekend. The movie will soon join the $1 Million club and Allu Arjun is only the 4th Tollywood hero to achieve this milestone! Until now, Seven Telugu Movies (Atharintiki Daredi, SVSC, Dookudu, Gabbar Singh, Baadshah, Eega, 1 - Nenokkadine) have been in this elite club. 'Race Gurram' will be 8th flick.
As per the above list, Mahesh Babu holds the top position with 3 movies (SVSC, Dookudu, 1 - Nenokkadine), Pawan Kalyan stands at second spot with 2 movies (Atharintiki Daredi, Gabbar Singh), Jr NTR (Baadshah), Allu Arjun Race Gurram) and Rajamouli (Eega) have one movie each. Interestingly, Ram Charan who holds the record of having 4 movies (Magadheera, Racha, Nayak, Yevadu) in Rs 45-plus crore club doesn't have a single movie in $1 Million club. This is one territory where he is yet to conquer!
