Thanks to the success of Race Gurram, Shaam, popularly known as “Kick Shaam”, is being flooded with lead role offers from Tollywood.
“Race Gurram is truly Surendra Reddy Sir’s magic on screen. After the movie, I have got three-four big offers to play lead roles. I have to pick and choose the ones apt for me,” he says.
The actor, who played Ram in Race Gurram, says, “I had a chocolate boy image for a long time and with Kick that changed. If I take up a lead role it will be of an action hero. I feel that down South, audiences are fonder of heroes who beat up at least 10 guys (laughs). Today whatever I am, I owe it to the people.”
Shaam is also in talks with Faisal Saif to make an entry into Bollywood. He says, “We had been working on a movie titled Mujhe Maaf Karo but it had got stuck as I got busy with my production house.”
