Ram Charan has very good market base locally. Especially in the mass dominated areas, his films do exceptionally well. So even if his films don’t make a lot of money in weak areas, his films still manage to breach the Rs 40 crore mark. However, since his films don’t do well overseas, his films never make it to the Rs 50 crore mark.
On the other hand, Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan’s films do super business in overseas. Now, Allu Arjun too has joined their league. Race Gurram has been Bunny’s biggest hit overseas in his entire career.
Coming to Cherry’s films, they barely manage to make any business out there. Despite getting three stars, the audiences there don’t rush to watch his films.
Naturally, this is putting extra pressure on Cherry to spruce up his act and reach out to the overseas audience.
Right now, Charan is busy wrapping up Krishna Vamsi’s family entertainer Govindudu Andari Vaadele. Even if the film does not make the kind of impact that Cherry wants, he has one film that he can safely bank on. And that is his next with Srinu Vaitla.
It is well-known fact that Srinu Vaitla is a highly sought-after director in the US and the audience love to watch his films. So, Cherry can look forward to hitting the bull’s eye with his film.
