Allu Arjun's family entertainer "Race Gurram" has ended the first week on a good note.
The film has earned ₹23.1 crore share in its first week at the AP/Nizam box office. The Allu Arjun starrer has managed to surpass the first week collections of Balakrishna's "Legend" (₹21.86 crore), Jr NTR's "Ramayya Vastavayya" ("RV" - ₹22.25 crore) and Mahesh Babu's "Business Man" (₹23 crore), according to Andhraboxoffice website.
"Race Gurram" first week box office figures are the same as Ram Charan's "Racha" collections (₹23.1 crore). The film has taken the 8th spot in the list of all time top 10 first week AP/Nizam shares.

The Surender Reddy directorial has also performed well at the overseas markets. The film's first-week worldwide share stands at ₹31.7 crore. The film has managed to beat the first week collections earned by several other biggies including "Nayak" (₹29.5 crore), "Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu" (₹27.9 crore), "Racha" (₹28.05 crore), "Ramayya Vastavayya" (₹28.6 crore) and "Julayi" (₹27.5 crore).
The Allu Arjun starrer has also performed well in Chennai. "Race Gurram" minted a share of approximately ₹32 lakh in its opening weekend, according to entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai.
The film has turned out to be the biggest hit in Allu Arjun's career. To celebrate the success of the film, its team held a success meet on Thursday (17 April) evening. Film's lead pair Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan, Allu Arjun's father Allu Arvind and director Surender Reddy among others attended the event.
After winning accolades from his Telugu fans, Allu Arjun is all set to impress the Malayalam audience. The Malayalam version of the film titled "Lucky-The Racer" is all set to hit the screens on 25 April.
