Allu Arjun has dropped the idea of debuting in Kollywood in the direction of Linguswamy this year. Although he launched the movie last year, both director Linguswamy and producer Gnanavel Raja have many financial issues to clear off in Kollywood. So the movie has been put on hold.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is launching another film in May once his current movie "Duvvada Jagannadham" hits the screens. Producer Lagadapati Sridhar is returning to movie production with Allu Arjun's next movie.
The producer told us he will be launching this big-budgeted project in May and the movie launch event will be held in biggest way possible.
It will be directed by "Racegurram" writer Vakkantham Vamsi. The writer earlier narrated the same story to NTR but it didn't work out but Allu Arjun liked this patriotic story.
"Naa Peru Surya" is the title that has already been registered on Larsco Banner and it has tagline of "Naa Illu India".
Naga Babu will also be having some stake in the movie, say the source. There is also talk that Allu Arjun is requesting Megastar Chiranjeevi to do a small role in the movie for a key scene. It is not known whether Megastar gave his nod or not.
