NTR Jr has big plans for Kerala market as he wants to expand his fan base in the Malabar land. He didn’t do the right film that appeals the Malayalees until now.
"Janatha Garage" is the film that has everything that Keralites will love as it stars their favorite star Lalettan (Mohanlal) in the Godfather's roles.
In Kerala, only Allu Arjun has substantial fan following among Telugu stars while Tamil stars like Vijay, Suriya and Karthi have already created a huge market for themselves there.
NTR wants to capture this with "Janatha Garage". Although many of NTR's movies were dubbed into Malayalam earlier but they didn't make any impact.
He is planning to tour the Kerala state with Mohanlal before the release. He has developed a good bond with the Malayalam superstar and has learnt many things about Malayalees and their culture. So NTR hopes to strike a chord with the young Keralites.
The producers are planning to hold a big audio event in Cochin or Tiruvananthapuram after completing the Telugu audio event.
