Stylish star Allu Arjun’s S/O (Son of) Satyamurthy which was released on April 9th is creating new records at the ticket window. This movie collected whopping Rs 50 Crore within 11 days of its release. Trivikram Srinivas directorial has turned out to be the biggest money spinner of the year.
The business of this Allu Arjun starrer is not showing any rise as new movies Ok Bangaram, Budugu and Varadhi are putting SOS on the backseat in terms of theatres, which consequently decrease the collections.
The team of S/O Satyamurthy had created a positive buzz in the media before its release. The hype of this movie helped it to register huge collections. Produced with a budget of Rs 40 Crore, this movie has fetched Rs 54 Crore from its distribution rights and it has collected over 80% of the investment within ten days of its release.
SOS has huge star cast Samantha, Nithya Menon, Adah Sharma, Sneha, Upendra, Ali, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj and many others. Trivikram mark dialogues are main highlight of the movie. SOS has been creating buzz ever since it was launched. Its music and promos generated lot of curiosity among the cine-goers. In addition, the makers had done massive promotion for it.
Son of Satyamurthy will be released in Malayalam version on April 24th as Allu Arjun has huge Kerala fan base. Most of his movies were dubbed and released in Malayalam and they turned out to be the money-spinners at the Mollywood box office.
Allu Arjun’s ‘Julai’, ‘Iddarammayilatho’ and ‘Race Gurram’ were released in Malayalam as ‘Gojapokkiri’, ‘Romeo & Juliets’ and ‘Lucky: The Racer’. These movies not only gathered huge collections, but also garnered a large numbers of new fans for Bunny.
The dubbing work of Son of Satyamurthy is going on at a jet speed and the makers of SOS have planned for its grand release across the state.
