Remember how both the movies Baahubali and Srimanthudu were slated to release around the same time? Srimanthudu unit happily made way and arrived four weeks later. These two films ended up becoming the top two biggest hits of Telugu film industry at that time. Many at that time opinionated that Srimanthudu enjoyed post Baahubali market expansion benefits.
In two months from now Baahubali 2 is going to arrive. Once again many thought that Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film with AR Murugadoss would be the one arriving after that and taking the advantage. However, it turns out that chance has been bagged by Allu Arjun’s next DJ. It is expected to arrive in May itself. Will DJ be enjoying the same benefits now? Bunny is at the best phase of his career with back to back successful films. He has expanded his market tremendously and earned loads of goodwill. With DJ he is taking yet another challenging character within the commercial space. If this movie also clicks it will elevate his status further as a star. The real question here is if the movie clicks can it become the biggest hit yet again for the star? Harish Shankar is directing the movie which is following Gabbar Singh sentiment at every turn. The first look and teaser are also planned to release on Shivaratri just like Gabbar Singh did. Let’s see if all these positive sentiments work in favor of Allu Arjun or not.
