Extreme passion in movie making prompted director and producer Gunasekhar to invest in huge money in 'Rudhramadevi' project. When no star has come forward to perform the great warrior 'Gona Gannareddy's role, 'Rudhramadevi' might not have seen light.
However, when Stylish Star Allu Arjun gave his nod to do the historical role at the eleventh hour, all of Gunasekhar's hardships gone disappeared. The movie, though, might not have earned huge project, saved the director-producer from huge losses. Star power of Allu Arjun weaved a magic at the box office such that the movie entered 50 crores club.
Citing this gesture of Allu Arjun, some of the media houses treated him 'Hero of the Year'. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's 'Sarainodu' is currently on sets. The makers have zeroed the release date of the movie as April 8. Rakul Preet Singh has done the romantic interest of Allu Arjun. Geetha Arts is the production house of the movie.
