Race Gurram Surpasses Rs 50 Crore, Soon to Beat Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi

Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram has crossed the 50 crore club. Director Surender Reddy's ' Race Gurram' which released on April 11, 2014,is still dominating the box office . The action-drama has crossed the Rs 50 core mark at the world wide box office in 25 days. The film has created history by becoming the top best grosser in Tollywood.

'Race Gurram' , would be Allu Arjun’s first film to enter the Rs 50 crore club

This Allu Arjun and Shruthi Haasan starrer has apparently overtaken the box office collection record of Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh’s last stunner ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC)’.

The film has finally emerged as the biggest earner in 2014 after it surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box-office.

'Race Gurram' earns the fifth spot

Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Nallamalupu Bujji, ‘Race Gurram’s story revolves around two brothers (played by Allu Arjun and Shaam). Shruti Haasan plays the female lead opposite Allu Arjun in the action drama. The other cast in ‘Race Gurram’ include Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Rishi and MS Narayana.

Landed on 66 screens in the international market on April 10, ‘Race Gurram’ has supposedly raked in Rs 7.42 crores at the USA Box Office in approximately 21 days. It has taken the fifth spot in the list of top 10 biggest blockbusters of Telugu cinema.

‘Race Gurram’ has managed to garner Rs 4.89 crore at the Karnataka Box Office, while in Vishakhapatnam, it collected around Rs 4.10 crore in 21 days. The film that has been generating strong numbers at the box office has earned Rs 1.20 crore from its screening in other parts of India.

The film's music has been composed by Thaman, while the cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa.

Now we have to watch whether ‘Race Gurram’ reaches the box office collection record of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ (Rs 74.88 crore), Magadheera (Rs 73.1 crore), ‘Gabbar Singh’ (Rs 60.55 crore) and Dookudu’ (Rs 56.7 crore).
