Allu Arjun’s ‘Sarrainodu’ has completed first week run successfully. Released on April 22, the film opened to bad talk and negative reviews. True that the movie’s content was nothing to rave about, but it has struck the chord with the mass audiences. So, despite not so great word-of-mouth, the film has raked in great moolah for the distributors (most areas were distributed by Geeta Arts, Allu Arjun’s home company).
In the first week, the movie has collected Rs 11 Cr share in Nizam area, record amount for an Allu Arjun starrer. In Ceded regions, the movie is collected Rs 6.80 Cr by end of first week and this is one of the all-time highest amounts in this territory for the first week for a Telugu movie.
After ‘Racegurram’, Allu Arjun has once again proved that he has strong base in mass centres too. Though the film has ended its first week run on a strong note, its overall collections range is yet to be gauged. The film is directed by Boyapati Sreenu.
