Rudramadevi Surprises with 'Hit-Flop' Talk?

Gunasekhar's dream project Rudramadevi hit the screens couple of weeks back in a grand manner. The film released in Telugu, Tamil,Malayalam and Hindi. Trade analysts say they still cannot arrive at a decision on the films' Telugu version. 

Despite huge competition, film is fighting hard to achieve break even. Film's Telugu version collected Rs 40 crs share across the world. Since the film is still continuing, one cannot arrive at the final share of Telugu version. 

Other versions however is surprising everyone with 'Hit-Flop' talk. Rudramadevi Hindi version was acquired for Rs 5crs by Abhishek Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. The film was released in a grand manner but viewers didnot care. 

Film collected a gross of Rs 3crs but didnot get even half of that share. Though the film has the cast of Rana and Anushka, with viewers not caring ,the film turned out to be a disaster. 

Malayalam version has been sold for Rs 1.1crs including satellite rights. Allu Arjun's stardom helped the filmmakers as the film got Rs 1cr. Film is a super hit in Malayalam. 

Had the Tamil version been released simultaneously with Telugu version, distributor would have made huge profits. But he released after a week but even then the film got good response. With no star heroes films in Tamil last week, the film remained in top place. However this week two films hit and collections dipped. However buyers made good profits. The film was sold along with satellite rights for Rs 10crs. The film is a hit in Tamil too.
