Gona Ganna Reddy’s Role Becomes Controversial

Gunasekhar’s much awaited film Rudramadevi has released world wide on Friday. The film has garnered positive talk from the audience.

Apart from Anushka in the titular role, Allu Arjun has dominated rest of the actors with his brilliant performance in the film in the role as Gona Ganna Reddy.

When normal audience are praising his performance, Historians have been criticizing the role of Gona Ganna Reddy in the film. They are alleging that Gunasekhar has added commercial ingredients to the film by ignoring the historicalfacts.

As per the Historians, Rudramadevi ruled the Kakatiya Dynasty for about 30 years from 1261 to 1290 AD without any much resistance either from her husband Chalukya Veerabadrudu or Gona Ganna Reddy. But, Gunasekhar showed Gona Ganna Reddy as a Robin Hood who always helps Rudramadevi to overcome her problems in the film.

They are criticizing that, what Gunasekhar has shown in the film regarding Gona Ganna Reddy is a complete trash.
