Race Gurram Gets Superb Opening at Box Office

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and actress Shruti Hassan starrer Telugu movie Race Gurram (RG), which released in theatres across the globe on April 11, has hit the bull's eyes. As trade analyst predicted, the Surender Reddy-directed family drama has received an earth-shattering response at the worldwide Box Office on its opening day. As per early trends, the action entertainer is likely to be the biggest opener for Bunny and Surender. Race Gurram is one of the most-awaited Telugu movies of 2014. Its promos had created lot of expectations among the film goers prior its release. The makers had extensive promotion for the film. In addition, the movie had huge amount of advance ticket booking for the first day. Amidst all these hype, this much-talked about film released in 1000+ screens across the world this Friday. The first show of Race Gurram began quite early in the morning in many place in both Telangana and Semandhra regions. The Bunny mania was as at its peak as mega fans were spotted struggling to collect to a few remaining tickets after huge amount of advance booking. The movie registered an average of 90 to 100% occupancy at both single screens and multiplexes in the morning shows on Friday. The film goers, who watched Race Gurram in early morning show, were impressed with Allu Arjun's performance, Brahmanandam's comedy, SS Thaman's music amazing action, dance and picturisation. A strong positive word of mouth took the business of the movie upwards in the later shows. Many theatres, which had 100% occupancy in matinee and afternoon shows, were displaying 'houseful' board. As per early trends, Race Gurram is expected to do record breaking collection at the worldwide Box Office on the first day. Trade experts predict that it will become the biggest opener for Allu Arjun and Surender Reddy.
