Maruthi who has just had a hit in Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is now in plans to get into the upper league by making a film with a top star, say industry sources.
Apparently, he is keen on signing a big star to get into the next level, thanks to BBM. But no big actor has shown interest in working with him as of now.
Incidentally, Maruthi is pretty close to Bunny and spends most of his time in Geeta Arts office. And he hopes to make a film with Bunny one day.
But that day does not seem to be near by as Bunny has clearly hinted that Maruthi has just got into level 2 and that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is just the beginning.
Though everyone in mega camp believes that Maruthi has done a commendable job, it is said that they had told him that there is still time for him to work with big stars.
Meanwhile, while Maruthi has worked with Rs 10 crore budget films, he is anxious to make a film with Rs 50 crores budget.
But talk is that Allu Arvind who made BBM along with UV Creations, is not keen on making a Rs 50 crore film with Maruthi.
