Every Sankranthi we have two or more big films vying for release every year. This year we have Mahesh Babu's 1 release has been locked for January 10. The big question on everyone's mind is which will be the other biggie that is going to lock horns with 1?
As per industry buzz, the release of Yevadu has been pushed from December to January. Few distributors have informed fans that Yevadu is likely to release for Sankranthi. Meanwhile, media reports are abuzz that Allu Arjun's Race Gurram will also be in race for a festive season release. However, this film is unlikely to release for Pongal as per our sources.
Race Gurram will arrive late, maybe during February first week or March last week is what we were informed. Allu Arjun, Surender Reddy's film is a complete entertainer which is targeted at universal audience. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in this film. If Yevadu comes in December then Race Gurram release might be advanced, but chances are unlikely as of now.
