Salman Khan’s fans from the world over are eagerly waiting for his film Ready and the release of the first trailer has only added to the frenzy. Salman will treat cine-buffs with his dance, romance, comedy, and action as well. Is anyone complaining!
Well yes! The first trailer of Ready has come under criticism for the unmistakable similarity between the song played in the trailer (Dhinka Chika) and the Telugu hit ‘Ringa Ringa’.
As per reports, the matter got worse as producer Bhushan Kumar and music composer Pritam received innumerable calls asking the same thing -- is the song copied?
According to Pritam, the song is not his composition; in fact, Devi Sri Prasad is the man behindDhinka Chika. But as the film’s main composer is Pritam, who is often accused of lifting tunes, everyone thought that it’s his song.
And why the rehash of Ringa Ringa in ‘Ready’? It’s because Salman Khan wanted it. According to Bhushan Kumar, Salman just loved the track, and used to be glued to it every time he met him in his vanity van. So he roped in Devi Sri Prasad for the song Dhinka Chika.
We admit the song (original) is fantastic! The makers are now planning a special event for the launch of Ready’s Dhinka Chika.
