Comparisons are bound to happen, as a senior star hero and a junior star are getting their flicks in a near gap yet again. Last time we have seen Balayya's Legend and Allu Arjun's Racegurram released in weeks gap, and both films competed heavily regarding satellite rights. Now that "Lion" and 'S/o Satya Murthy" are likely to hit cinemas around same time, once again this satellite rights competition has surfaced.
Interestingly, Gemini TV has bagged the satellite rights of both Balayya and Bunny's movies last time, while Legend pocketed 4.5 crores Race Gurram walked away with 7.5 crores. Though Gemini was heard offering Balayya a bomb initially, somehow they have decided to buy it below 5 crores only. And now, reports have that Gemini bought satellite rights of Lion too. This time they have doled out a crore excess, giving 5.5 crores for Balayya's flick. What about Bunny's S/o Satya Murthy then?
According to reports, Allu Arjun's latest movie "S/O Satya Murthy" has fetched nearly 9.5 crores, this time with MAA TV jumping into the bandwagon to own satellite rights. That means, Bunny's market has shot up acutely by almost 2 crores. Probably we should owe that to the blockbuster success of "Race Gurram" that collected 50+ crores share from box office.
