What are the big picks for Summer 2015 in Tollywood? Some pick S/o Satyamurthy and Bahubali, while others have Srimanthudu in mind. Owing to this hype, business of these three movies is sky rocketing in trade circles. But what about "Rudramdevi" then? Despite Gunasekhar's hard efforts, the film hasn't become huge talk of town and cinema analysts are not so keen on it. But this flick sounds to be like a silent killer coming under the carpet.
For being just an heroine-centric film, Anushka starrer "Rudramadevi" is not getting the much needed hype like our star heroes movies. And also this film is no ordinary masala movie. However there are quite strong unsung weapons in the flick that could really cast its magical spell at box office. Other than Allu Arjun's cameo presence, there are glamour departments and story elements that could hook audiences to seats. If clicked, these weapons unleash their mighty power on collection figures effortlessly.
For "Rudramadevi", the major asset will be its story. As many people want to what's the real and full story of this 13th century historical queen they are likely to come to theatres. Forget the quality of visual effects, but people want to find how Rudrama ruled land through her Kakatiya Dynasty in the age of male supremacy. The story-factor is going to be huge crowd puller for the movie, irrespective of any criticism.
So what's for audiences once they are in theatres? We have Anushka anyway and then there is Allu Arjun showcasing his heroics as a warrior. And there are terrific rhyming and timing based dialogues to entertain masses. Not to forget, Anushka and Catherine Tresa competed with each other in bringing 'masala' glamour to silver screen. That's also an asset. Rana and Prakash Raj are surely going to impress big time if we look at their characters from the history point of view. Also Guna is known for his creative screenplay even for a simple scene and that might come handy for this historical flick.
With all these unsung weapons, is "Rudramadevi" not a big money spinner standing by the likes of S/o Satyamurthy, Bahubali and Srimanthudu? Yes it is.
