Gunasekhar’s historic epic flick Rudramadevi’s audio was launched in a grand gala event on Sunday 22nd March at Warangal. Telangana state political bigwigs have attended the event. Deputy-CM Kadiyam Srihari, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and politician couple Konda Surekha & Konda Murali have graced the event as chief guests. First copy of CD was handed over the Konda Surekha by Allu Arjun.
As we know, the stylish star has essayed a pivotal role of Gona Ganna Reddy in the movie. However, Anushka plays the titular role of warrior queen while it also features, Rana, Nitya Menon, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini, Prakash Raj, Baba Sehgal and others. The movie will be released in 2D and 3D formats simultaneously. Music composed by maestro Ilayaraja was launched in Visakhapatnam the day before it was launched at Warangal. Krishnam Raju, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry were also present at the occasion along with other cast and crew.
Addressing the event, Anushka said,”The entire credit goes to Gunasekhar for his hard work and vision.” While Allu Arjun said,” Anushka is the main hero of the film and if not she,Rudramadevi wouldn’t have been completed.” Konda Surekha said,” She believes that Anushka to have performed great and would bring back Rudramadevi in live to younger generation.”
