Badrinath to Undergo Re-Censor on Monday

Sytlish star Allu Arjun’s ‘Badrinath’ had gone for the Censor clearance on Friday and bagged ‘A’ Certificate. The film is scheduled for release on June 10, 2011 and filmmakers have planned accordingly for a big (worldwide) release.

But now, the film faces a fresh obstacle for the Censor Board. Members of the Board raised objections on few violent scenes in the film. As the film has several violent scenes in second half, they asked for re-censor, which will be done of Monday.

Now, we have to wait and see if the Board suggests any more cuts.

‘Badrinath’ is an action-based romantic socio-fantasy entertainer directed VV Vinayak. Milky white beauty Tamanna Bhatia played the female lead role. Mega producer Allu Aravind produced it on Geetha Arts Banner. It will be released in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously.

The film features music composed by MM Keeravani, stunts by Peter Heynes, cinematography by S Ravi Varman, editing by Goutham Raju and art by Anand Sai. Chinni Krishna provided the story.
