Allu Arjun's upcoming film, Badrinath has been sold for a bomb in several areas including Nellore, Guntur. We had reported that the rights of the film have been sold for around Rs 1.25 crores in Nellore and Rs 2.75 crores in Guntur respectively. The latest news is that the film has been sold for a price of around Rs 3 crores in Vizag. Given the pre-release hype about the film and the budget associated with it, Badrinath has a good chance of doing well at box-office in Vizag, although the extent to which it can struck a chord with the people remains to be seen. With no other big film in near future, Badrinath has no serious competition for the next couple of weeks.
Directed by V V Vinayak, the film has been produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. Tamannaah is playing the lead role and Prakash Raj is playing an important role. The film is said to be a action entertainer with a temple backdrop. Recently, the film was censored and the censor board has given it a A certificate. M M Keeravani has composed the songs. Badrinath will hit the screens on June 10.
