Allu Arjun’s latest film Badrinath, which was directed by V V Vinayak, is turning out to be the biggest hit in his career. Tamannaah played the lead role and Allu Aravind had produced the film on Geetha Arts banner. A day after Allu Aravind announced that Badrinath has broken several records right in the first week of its release we have received the area wise collectionsreport from several corners of AP and other states. Allu Arjun’s earlier film did pretty well in Nizam area and Badrinath was no different. Reports suggest that the film has collected a share of around Rs 5.37 crores in the first week alone. In East Godavari, the film collected a share of around Rs 1.05 crores and in West Godavari it was around Rs 95 lakhs. In Krishna district, the film made around Rs. 1.01 crores in the first week and in Guntur and Vizag, the film collected a share of around Rs 1.45 crores and Rs 1.50 crores respectively. However, the biggest surprise was in Ceded. Badrinath broke all previous records of Allu Arjun’s films in that area and sources say that the film collected a share of around Rs 3.90 crores, which is a new record for Bunny.
Elsewhere, in Kerala and Karnataka, where Allu Arjun has a huge fan base, the film opened to huge numbers in the first week. In Kerala, the film was off to a flying start and it, reportedly, collected a shareof around Rs. 1.25 crores and in Karantaka, the figure has been pegged at around Rs 2.70 crores.Taking all these collections into account, the film has opened to huge numbers all across the state, despite the divided talk and not so great reviews. It remains to be seen if the film manages to keep the momentum going in the coming few weeks as well.
