Allu Arjun shocked everyone by saying that he is doing special role in Rudrama Devi for free. He said that he is in awe of the character Gona Gannareddy and took it as a challenge. He is not taking a penny to do this most important role. If that is true then Gunasekhar must consider himself lucky because Allu Arjun will surely add up to the craze of the film. A free show from him will ensure at least 10 to 15 crore boost to the box office potential of Rudramadevi.
Although Allu Arjun says that he is not taking any remuneration for the film, it is widely believed among the film circles that Geetha Arts has bought more than fifty percent stake in this film as Gunasekhar ran into financial crisis. Only then Allu Arjun has stepped into do this role is what industry sources say.
So Allu Arjun will get a share in the profits as he owns part of the Rudrama Devi movie. When he is technically one of the producers of the film why would he ask for separate pay check? However there is no official confirmation about Geetha Arts co producing this film. Will that be kept a secret forever or what?
