It is celebration time for Allu Arjun’s fans. The actor’s latest release “Race Gurram” is all set to complete 50-day theatrical run at the box office. The film hit the screens on 11 April and turned out to be the biggest hit of 2014 (so far). It surpassed the INR 50-crore mark (share) at the worldwide box office and is among the top five Telugu films with highest shares. The Allu Arjun starrer managed to beat the collections of several other biggies including “Naayak”, ” Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” (“SVSC”), “Mirchi”, “Yevadu” and “Baadshah.” “Race Gurram” is the first film of Allu Arjun to enter the ₹50-crore club. The action entertainer also performed exceptionally well in overseas markets and it surpassed the $1 million mark at the US box office. “Race Gurram” is the second film of the year to cross $1 million mark after “1 Nenokkadine.” The elite club also has big films like Pawan Kalyan’s “Attarintiki Daaredi” (2013) and “Gabbar Singh” (2012), Jr NTR’s “Baadshah” (2013), Mahesh Babu’s “SVSC” (2013) and “Dookudu” (2011). Recently, “Manam” also entered the club by earning more than a million dollar.
