It’s a casting coup of sorts since hotshot stars Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej are set to share screen space in a big-budget extravaganza. The childhood buddies who became stars in their own right will be teaming up to revive the multi-starrer trend in
T-town. Formerly, Tollywood superstars were reluctant to share acting honours since there was a dearth of scripts that could justify their presence and allot appropriate footage to each. Although the title Charan Arjun was registered a year ago, the project has materialised only now. “We found the right script and both the buddies-turned-actors will be working together in a big-budget film this year,” says a source close to Allu Arjun. It will be helmed by young director Vamsi Paidipally of Brindavanam fame and the much-awaited film set to roll from August. It will be a treat for Chiru’s followers.
