Bunny to Repeat Desamuduru Magic Once Again

The movie industry is ever competitive with talents that try to outshine each other.  Every actor irrespective of whether a newbie or a veteran put up their own share of effort to entertain the audience and thus remain in business. It is the claps, whistles and an unconditional love of the audience that kick up their vigor and drives them towards the milestones they look at conquering.
Allu Arjun is one rare breed of actors who can go to great lengths if the character demands. He made everyone drool over with his 6-pack looks with “Desamuduru,” which inspired several young actors to follow the suit. A fitness freak always, Allu Arjun is set to flaunt his six pack body in his upcoming movie “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham.“
Directed by Harish Shankar, the movie is said to be high on entertainment. Beautiful diva Pooja Hegde has been roped in for the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for the crazy project and ‘Dil’ Raju is producing it under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The regular shoot of “DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham” is expected to start in late October. Apart from “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham,” Allu Arjun has Linguswamy‘s untitled project which will be made in Telugu and Tamil, simultaneously.

Bunny is a Six Pack Brahmin?

It is said that Stylish Star Allu Arjun is the first six pack hero of Tollywood. His six pack abs were seen on big screen for the first time in 'Deshamuduru'. If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, Allu Arjun would flaunt his six pack abs again in his upcoming film 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham'.

What is more interesting is that Allu Arjun will entertain the audience as a Brahmin in the film. His role is being designed in such a way hilarious comedy and punch dialogues are assured through his role. Moreover, Harish Shankar, the director of the film, is known for penning comic, satirical and powerful punch dialogues for the heroes in an appealing way. He vehemently, works on the script of the film at the moment. 

Puja Hegde will be seen opposite to Allu Arjun in this film. Music of the film will be scored by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is being produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie is expected to hit screens in the month of April, 2017.

Mallu Arjun is Unbeatable

Stylish star Allu Arjun is the uncrowned tollywood No.1 when it comes to Kerala market. He slowly built his market in Mallu land with each of his release and now he stands so tall that even the combination of NTR and Mohanlal couldn't touch him.

NTR's latest film 'Janatha Garage' was expected to easily break the record set by Allu Arjun's 'Yodhavu' (Malayalam version of Sarrainodu) since the film had Kerala's biggest superstar Mohanlal in a key role. However, Janatha Garage failed to make any impact in the Mallu land and it ended up well short of Bunny's Yodhavu in its full run.

Janatha Garage has almost finished its theatrical run in Kerala and grossed Rs 4.36 crore, which amount to a meager share of Rs 1.83 crore. In comparison, Yodhavu grossed Rs 7.60 crore. JG film however crossed the collections of Rudhramadevi to become the 3rd highest Telugu grosser in Kerala. With Rs 14.20 crore gross, Baahubali remains the highest Telugu grosser at Kerala Box Office.

Barring 'Baahubali' films, no other Telugu hero or film looks to snub Bunny's films. With a Lingusmay Telugu-Tamil bilingual project in pipeline, Bunny is expected to scale a much bigger performance at Kerala BO as Tamil films enjoy good market in Mallu state. Competing with 'Baahubali 2' will be a distant dream but the Allu Arjun-Lingusmay project has the potential to beat Baahubali collections and further cement his position as the numero uno in Kerala.

Bunny’s DJ Starts Rolling from October 21st

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ will start rolling from 21stof this month. The first schedule will be 10 days long and the team will begin the proceedings by canning the scenes with out the hero. Bunny will be joining the shoot in the second schedule which will happen some time in November. The makers have finalized a huge ensemble of cast including Rao Ramesh who will be seen as the main villain in the film. Pooja Hegde who appeared in films like ‘Mukunda’ and ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ is finalized as the female lead in the movie.

She recently paired up with Hrithik Roshan in ‘Mohenjedaro’. We are told that the movie will be extensively shot in Hyderabad and some part in Hongkong. Once the shooting begins, it will go non-stop till completion. The makers are looking at April First Week release for the film as Summer Special. Harish Shankar is directing the film.

Dil Raju is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. This is Dil Raju’s 25th production venture. Dil Raju is producing Allu Arjun film after a gap of seven years. He produced ‘Aarya’ which is the first big break in Allu Arjun’s career and later also produced Parugu with Allu Arjun. So this film is a reunion of sort. This is the third film of Dil Raju with Harish Shankar after ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya’ and ‘Subrahmanyam for Sale’. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Noted Bollywood cinematographer Ayanaka Bose, who has several high budget Hindi movies like ‘Umrao Jaan, Kites, Kick and Dishoom’ to his credit will be making his Telugu debut with ‘DJ’.  Allu Arjun just delivered a massive blockbuster with his ‘Sarainodu’. The movie is Fourth Biggest Hit of all time in Telugu film industry. The actor who is buoyed by back to back successes is raring to go and is keen on keeping up the success track.

That's Why Sarrainodu Received Award!

It is a known news that Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' has received 'Highest Grossing Film of the Year - 2016' award by 'International Film Business Awards' (IFBA 2016). Mega fans were overjoyed with this prestigious award. 

This award, however, led to interesting debates as well. Some of the movie fans expressed their doubts on what basis the award was given to the film. Reliable sources have said that the organizers had given the award after getting through the genuine collections of all the big films of the year released until September 24 on which the awards function was held.They have also made it clear that collections published in media houses as part of movies' promotions haven't been considered for the award. 

However, the organizers have done a blunder giving the award without completion of the year. "Since it happens to be the first ever occasion of Tollywood to have given away the award for collections of films from renowned agency,  there would be little flaws in the event and the mistakes could be rectified next year," informed the sources.

Sarrainodu Highest Grosser: Certificate Proof

It is a known fact that Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' collected a share of Rs.76 crores world wide and stood as the highest grosser among Telugu films released this year. Here is an official acknowledgement for the movie's achievement. 

'Sarrainodu' has been certified as the 'Highest Grossing Movie of the Year at the second edition of Indywood Film Carnival held at Ramoji Film City on 24th September, as  part of 'International Film Business Awards-2016 (IFBA 2016).This is said to be another feather in 'Sarrainodu's cap.

Invigorated with the blockbuster result of the film, Allu Arjun is currently working with Harish Shankar for an interesting film titled 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham'. Allu Arjun will also be teaming up with South top director Lingusamy for a Tamil film soon.

Bunny’s DJ Look!

Stylish star Allu Arjun is busy with his upcoming movie titled ‘DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham’ under Harish Shankar direction. The movie’s shooting is going on at rapid pace. In this movie Allu Arjun will be seen in dual avatar, one as DJ and the other as Orthodox Brahmin. It is heard that Bunny will follow Ruby Rose haircut for DJ role. Recently he called hair stylists from Mumbai and zeroed on Ruby Rose hair style after the discussion. Pooja Hegde is playing female lead role in this movie. Dil Raju is producing the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the movie.

2016 South India Top 5 Grossers - KABALI Leads, Bunny Beats Junior NTR !

We have to come to fag end of the year and as there is less steam left in the rest of the months. We bring you the Top 5 Grossers of South India movies. Tollywood has 3 movies and Kollywood has 2 movies in the list. 

Among the list, we have two Junior NTR movies too. Allu Arjun has 'Sarrainodu' in Top 5 list. Vijay's 'Theri' also has broke into this list. Rajini's 'Kabali' which had an earth shattering collection is still at the Top like a Boss.

Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' has also won against Junior NTR's 'Nannaku Prematho'. 'Nannaku Prematho' has stayed in 5th spot. 'JANATHA GARAGE'  is in second spot and chances are high that no other movie can regain it.

However it is quite impossible and an uphill task for 'Janatha Garage' to beat Rajini's 'Kabali'. Let's wait till Diwali to know whether some other movie has got the muscle to change these rankings ! Stay tuned.. 

Not Mahesh, Bunny Competes Baahubali 2?

It's now all official. The makers of 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' have officially confirmed during yesterday's press meet that Tollywood's the magnum opus would hit screens on April 28. Earlier, Prince Mahesh and AR Murugadoss' untitled film was expected to combat 'Baahubali 2' releasing on the same day.

However, reliable sources have confirmed that the production team of Mahesh's film is no way interested to the clash of both the films. As such, they are contemplating to postpone the release of the film either in the last week of May or to prepone the film in the Month of March so as to maintain a comfortable gap of one month between the releases of both the films. 

If the cooked up stories are anything to go by, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadhm' is set for release either in the last week of April or in the first half of May. Perhaps, there will be a gap of one or two weeks between the release dates of both films if not the clash happens on the same day. We need to get more updates on 'DJ' at the earliest.
