Bunny in ABCD2?

Choreographer turned Director Prabhu Deva interacted with scribes during the promotions of ‘ABCD 2’ in Hyderabad. When asked about Allu Arjun’s special in the film, he said, he was not aware of it and may be film director Remo could have thought about it. He added he was not informed about it. When asked pointedly whether Allu Arjun starred in the film, he with a smile said he doesn’t know about it. He added as far as he is concerned he did a role. He said he loved Krishna Vamsi-Ram Charan’s ‘Govindudu Andari Vadele’. On his accident news, he questioned whether he looks like he suffered an accident. He added he expected ‘Bahubali’ to be a spectacular film even before the trailer launch and it proved it. It took Indian cinema to another level

Rudramadevi Malayalam Title & Logo

Anushka's historical flick 'Rudramadevi' has been dubbed in Malayalam as 'Rudra' to capitalize on the market of Allu Arjun in Kerala. Even the logo design has been unveiled and it comes with a tag line 'The Warrior Queen'. A simultaneous Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam release is being planned on June 26th.

With 'Rudramadevi' blocking the crucial last weekend on June, 'Kick 2' release date will be either preponed to June 19th or postponed to July 3rd to maintain a health gap between the two biggies. Chances of pushing the release to July can't be ruled out as of now as post-production work is still pending for the Comedy Entertainer.

Meanwhile, 'Rudramadevi' is carrying low buzz and a recovery of Rs 70 crore isn't going to be an easy task. Telugu version alone has to generate Rs 60 crore share to attain a hit status.

62nd Filmfare Awards South 2015- Bunny was Nominated

The nominations for 62^nd Filmfare Awards South 2015 is announced. The buzz around the prestigious awards function kick-started on 3 June after the official press conference that was attended by Telugu superstar Venkatesh. The editor of Filmfare magazine announced that a total of 350 movies is competing for this year's FIlmfare awards.

In Telugu, top actors Allu Arjun, Mohan Babu, Nagarjuna, Sharwanand and Venkatesh have joined the race for Best Actor. Whereas movies like "Dhrushyam", "Karthikeya', "Manam", "Race Gurram" and "Run Raja Run" are nominated for Best Film.

Coming to the Best Actor (Female) category, actresses like Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, Raakul Preet Singh , Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shruthi Haasan have been nominated.

Rudrama Devi’s Release Date Confirmed

Talented director ​Gunasekhar​,​ who gave us ​super ​hits like Okkadu, Arjun and Choodalani ​U​ndi ​is pretty determined to get back to his best​ with his latest flick Rudrama Devi​. The Anushka starrer has completed it shoot and is busy in its post production formalities.

According to the latest update, the makers have decided to release their film on June 26th 2015. Rudrama Devi is the first 3D historic Indian film to be ever made. Some big names like Allu Arjun​ and Rana Daggubati are also involved in this project which has music by Ilayaraja.

Rudramadevi to be Released Prior to Bahubali

‘Bahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi’ are much talked about films in the Tollywood industry. Compared to ‘Bahubali’, expenditure on ‘Rudramadevi’ was less but the film technical production cost is very high.

The peope are eagerly awaiting release of the film since it featured artistes lie Anushka, Raana and Allu Arjun. Director Gunasekhar is making the film for the past two years. He made arrangements for release of the film prior to ‘Bahubali’s’. He conducted audio release function, but surprisingly remained silent afterwards. There was no announements about the film.

If the film were to be released later than ‘Bahubali’, chances are likely that ‘Rudramadevi’ will be compared to Raja Mouli’s film and it is likely that the film may not get positive vibes. The solution is to release of the fim prior to ‘Bahubali’s. But Gunasekhar has no such financial resources. Because of financial problems, he wll not be able to give any latest updates about the film.

‘Bahubali’ is tipped to be relased on July 10. Chances are likely ‘Rudramadevi’ to be released prior to the Raja Mouli’s film. Currently, Gunasekhar is busy with all tasks associated with the film’s release.

S/O f Satyamurthy Final Collections

Son Of Satyamurthy, which has released in nearly in 1495 screen across the globe, did a decent fare at the box office. Apparently, the film has collected a total share of 51.9 Cr world wide after its full run, including Malayalam business and a share of 37.65 Cr in AP and TS alone. The Telugu version of the film collected 50.75 Cr and it is the second consecutive 50 Cr film for Allu Arjun. He is the first ever Tollywood hero to pull off that feat. The makers of the film, has made sure that Allu Arjun gets his career best release with Son Of Satyamurthy, to make most of the season and were quite successful. A film, which has opened to sparse response, doing this good at the box office is surely a mirfical act. The strong mega fan base, Allu Arjun's craze and the ultimate power of Trivikram's pen pulled the audiences to theaters largely. What’s Wrong with Rudramadevi?

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is getting bigger day by day. Guna Sekhar’s Rudramadevi and Baahubali are most awaited films of this year. But, what happened to Rudramadevi? No sign anywhere?

Rudramadevi is based on the history of Kakatiya queen Rudramadevi and her kingdom alive on silver screen. Earlier, this movie was supposed to hit the screens in April itself.

Few days before, we heard that Rudramadevi is ready for the release as Ilayaraja also finished the total work on the background score. Actress Anushka’s presence and Allu Arjun’s cameo grabbed the attention of the audiences but suddenly that charm was lost due to the delay in the release.

Some sources say that the post-production issues are making the delay while other sources say that pre-release business is quite low for this high budgeted epic film.

Let us hope Rudramadevi will hit the screens before people forget it

Bunny Stars in Anti-Dowry TVC

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is starring in a unique campaign titled ‘Kotthavi Kaavaalante Paathavi Vadulukovaali’ (Let the old make way for the new). The Television Commercial (TVC) for online classifieds portal OLX.in hit the screens last weekend. Conceived by executive creative director Lowe Lintas, the TVC features Allu Arjun who lends a witty tone to a rather tense scenario. 

It shows the family of a boy that has come with a marriage proposal to the girl’s family. But then the boy’s father throws a hint that he wants a bigger car. Allu, playing the role of the girl’s brother, borrows the father’s phone, clicks pictures of the old car and puts them up on OLX. He gets instant offers and quirkily tells the boy’s father: “Nayi ke liye puraani badalni padegi… 

Soch! (to get the new, you must first get rid of the old)” The mix of homely slapstick and homegrown wisdom makes the TVC very relatable and promises to strike a chord with the viewers. “The film helped us deliver the brand message with a subtle anti-dowry message, a practice still quite prevalent in the country. 

Allu is a role model for people in AP and Telangana and we believe that this message by OLX will be quite well received,” said Lowe Lintas.The ads have also been launched in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi which features actors Dhanush, Sudeep and stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma respectively.

S/o Satyamurthy: Values Resulted in 2.5 Crores Loss?

Despite criticism from critics, Stylish Star Allu Arjun pulled an unbelievable feat at box office with his 'mega' fan power. His latest movie "S/o Satyamurthy" has clocked figures beyond belief and recorded a 50 crore feat for the second time after "Race Gurram". Say it Trivikram's content, Bunny belief or audiences finding no cinema better than that, these final world wide 'share' figures speak a lot.

Featuring Allu Arjun, Samantha, Rajendra Prasad, Upendra and others in the lead, "S/o Satyamurthy" recently finished its 50 day run at box office. That also brought the film's run to a final with summer season gone and many new films taking over the reigns. In its full and final run at box office, S/o Satyamurthy amassed nearly 37.35+ crores from Andhra Pradesh and Nizam alone. For the first time, Bunny made a swash buckling numbers from USA and other overseas locations too. They accounted for another 6+ crores nearly. Somehow Karnataka fans liked this film's 'values' immensely along with Upendra and they contributed for nearly 5.8 crores, while Kerala's mallu fans gave 1.15 crores. All in all, S/o Satyamurthy collected 51.6+ crores "share" from box-office.

Talking about profit and loss for distributors, S/o Satyamurthy's theatrical rights are valued at nearly 54 crores. That means, some distributors would have faced slight deficits and that slight 'figure' is nearly 2.5 crores. They say that if budget hasn't overshot or the film not sold for 54 crores, which is quite high for any Allu Arjun movie so far, definitely distributors would have recovered easily. Still, for a movie that garnered negative talk on day one, this is a milestone.

'S/o Satyamurthy' completes its full run at last and it raked in a mamooth share of Rs 51.9 crore to achieve an above average status at the Box Office. 

Allu Arjun is the only Tollywood Hero to deliver back-to-back Rs 50 crore share films. Trivikram, on the other hand, delivered three consecutive Rs 40 crore-plus films and two consecutive Rs 50 crore-plus films.

The Family Entertainer is now at 7th Spot in All Time Highest Earners of TFI and it's only the 17th film down South to achieve this feat.
