S/o Satyamurthy: Values Resulted in 2.5 Crores Loss?

Despite criticism from critics, Stylish Star Allu Arjun pulled an unbelievable feat at box office with his 'mega' fan power. His latest movie "S/o Satyamurthy" has clocked figures beyond belief and recorded a 50 crore feat for the second time after "Race Gurram". Say it Trivikram's content, Bunny belief or audiences finding no cinema better than that, these final world wide 'share' figures speak a lot.

Featuring Allu Arjun, Samantha, Rajendra Prasad, Upendra and others in the lead, "S/o Satyamurthy" recently finished its 50 day run at box office. That also brought the film's run to a final with summer season gone and many new films taking over the reigns. In its full and final run at box office, S/o Satyamurthy amassed nearly 37.35+ crores from Andhra Pradesh and Nizam alone. For the first time, Bunny made a swash buckling numbers from USA and other overseas locations too. They accounted for another 6+ crores nearly. Somehow Karnataka fans liked this film's 'values' immensely along with Upendra and they contributed for nearly 5.8 crores, while Kerala's mallu fans gave 1.15 crores. All in all, S/o Satyamurthy collected 51.6+ crores "share" from box-office.

Talking about profit and loss for distributors, S/o Satyamurthy's theatrical rights are valued at nearly 54 crores. That means, some distributors would have faced slight deficits and that slight 'figure' is nearly 2.5 crores. They say that if budget hasn't overshot or the film not sold for 54 crores, which is quite high for any Allu Arjun movie so far, definitely distributors would have recovered easily. Still, for a movie that garnered negative talk on day one, this is a milestone.
