Do You know that Allu is 'Andhra Jackson'?

The wonderful rapport and warmth relation between Allu and Konidela families is evident here again when ramcharan posted pic on his Twitter with Andhra Jackson. Yes, Charan called as ‘Andhra Jackson’ even when both of them are strong contenders for the crown of best dancers of Tollywood.

Allu Arjun most of time resembles or copies moments of Michael Jackson and this is a good gesture that Cherry accepted the dancing prowess of Arjun titling him as ‘Andhra MJ.’

Allu Arjun’s Badrinath raises Expectations

Allu Arjun who is currently busy with semi-periodic film, Badrinath says that he is trying to take a break from love stories in this New Year. This stylish star opined that he is stepping into new pathway with his undershoot film Badrinath.
Tamannah is playing Bunny’s love interest in the film. Being directed by V.V.Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geeta Arts, Chinni Krishna is the man behind the story of Badrinath. Chinni Krishna opined that the script of Badrinath is more powerful than his earlier penned stories Indra and Narasimhanaidu which has set new collection records of Telugu cinema. Badrinath is being made with a budget of 40 crores, says the film unit.
Well, the news is definitely raising our expectations on the film. Isn’t it?

Allu magic again in KBO

Telugu star Allu Arjun, a rank outsider to Malayalam cinema, has taken Kerala by storm with the release of the dubbed version of his Arya 2. The film, which released in 65 screens last Friday, has grossed a whopping Rs 67 lakhs in three days! Says a leading exhibitor in Kerala, “The film has taken an M & M (Mammootty & Mohanlal) kind of opening and is running to packed houses even in smaller centres. To be frank, our young heroes never enjoy this kind of an opening!” With the success of the film, Allu Arjun — popularly known as Bunny — has become a youth icon in Kerala. In fact, a market survey states that he is way ahead, in terms of popularity, than other young Malayali actors like Prithviraj and Jayasuriya.
The stylish star’s earlier Telugu films like Arya, Happy, Desamuduru and Parugu have all been dubbed into Malayalam and turned out to be huge hits. It was his films that started the trend of Telugu mass commercial films being dubbed into Malayalam.
The rights of Arya 2, which were purchased for Rs 1.05 crore, is expected to take a distributor’s share close to Rs 2 crore in Kerala. Allu’s next release Varudu, in which Tamil actor Arya plays villain, is reported to have been sold for Rs 1.5 crore! Meanwhile, Tamil actor Ajith’s Aasal, which also released worldwide last Friday, could not release in the Malabar and Travancore areas, as theatres there preferred to screen Arya 2 instead. Says Ravi, the distributor of Arya 2, who also regularly distributes Tamil films, “Today, among other language actors, Allu Arjun comes second only to Ilaiyathalapathi Vijay in terms of popularity, in Kerala.” Recently, Bunny was in Thiruvananthapuram to participate in a television channel’s award ceremony.
He was mobbed by his fans who lovingly call him ‘Mallu Arjun’. Today, Allu has as many hoardings as any other big Malayalam star. So, what is it about Bunny that has made him such a rage among youngsters? Says Ravi, “He dances like a dream and all his movies have a romantic touch. Also, he has a Malayali look that gets the girls swooning. His core strength lies in his fan following among the youth, which identifies with him. No other young actor has managed to do this till date.” Allu, who now has several fan clubs, is planning to tour the state and interact with his fans. His forthcoming movie Varudu, currently in production, was shot in Kochi and Palakkad. M & M will have to rethink their strategies on how to cope with the threat that’s being posed by ‘Mallu’ Arjun, who has been crowned by trade pundits as the new ‘Prince of the Kerala box office’.

ARYA2 secured 9th place

Bunny's ARYA2 secured 9th place in top 10 hit movies in the year 2010 in a popular channel of Kerala. This news was tweeted u Allu sirish recenly in twitter.

2010 Special: Most Daring Star Hero:Bunny

'Daring Actor' is not decided basing on the stunts they do and the punch dialogues, they deliver in their films. The star hero, who picks an experimental role despite his stardom, can be considered as one such. In that scenario, Allu Arjun is undoubtedly the most daring hero of the year.

Critically acclaimed film 'VEDAM', directed by Krish has won accolades for the portrayal of human emotions and situational instincts. The role of Allu Arjun as Cable Raju has fascinated the audience. Being a star hero, Allu Arjun's acceptance of a character that dies at the end is really a bold attempt. Though the film was unsuccessful in collecting money, it definitely set a new standard for the makers of brilliant thought provoking films.

Rao Ramesh hurt on Takshasila sets

Popular character artiste Rao Ramesh Rao, son of the late Rao Gopala Rao, suffered minor injuries while shooting for ‘Badrinath’ film directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts with Allu Arjun in the lead.
Some crucial action scenes are being choreographed in a massive Takshasila set involving Rao Ramesh, Kelly Dorjee and others. As per the film unit sources, Kelly Dorjee pushed Rao Ramesh with a hit and the later fell at a distance and a huge torch accidentally fell a few inches away from his head.
Rao Ramesh escaped from the jaws of death miraculously and survived from the accident with minor injuries. Everyone in the film unit claim that it was really a rebirth for the actor.

Allu Arjun’s Badrinath is better than Indra

Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Badrinath is a semi period movie in which Bunny is donning an all new avatar. VV Vinayak is directing this mega budget film on Geeta Arts banner. Allu Aravind, who produced magnum opus Magadheera is producing Badrinadh on par with the former.

Writer Chinni Krishna, who penned super hit stories such as Indra and Narasimhanaidu says that Badrinath script is even better than his previous scripts. “Actually I thought of directing this film. But the producer who accepted to produce this script under my direction has asked for a change in the story, for which I didn’t agree. This is a complete script and we can’t even change single scene as it will affect the whole screenplay,” he said.

Allu Arjun’s business is yet to surpass Rs. 30 crore and the unit of Badrinath is confident that this movie will collect more than 40 crore as the budget of the film is almost close to that mark!
