Allu Arjun, who was last seen in the blockbuster Sarrainodu, will be next seen in the romantic entertainer Duvvada Jagannadham. After much-delay, the regular shooting of the film has commenced today (November 4).
Duvvada Jagannadham is bankrolled by Dil Raju, who is collaborating with Allu Arjun after seven years. They've previously worked in superhits like Arya and Parugu.
According to reports, director Harish Shankar has written a script that will target the masses. While the film is slated to release in the summer of 2017, there aren't any confirmation regarding the cast and crew. It's also said that the team is planning to wrap up the shoot by January, 2017.
Earlier, Shruti Haasan was offered Pooja Hegde's role. But the Race Gurram actor had reportedly turned down the role.
According to reports, Duvvada Jagannadham will have Bunny sporting a macho look.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has signed a project with director Linguswamy, which will mark Bunny's Tamil debut. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual will go on floors next year.
