Telugu audiences can be demarcated into rural and urban audiences. While the city-bred and foreign educated Telugu audiences are now looking for different films which have a different approach to story-telling, the rural and semi-urban audiences love to watch mass, commercial films that are loaded with heavy-duty dialogues from their favourite stars. In all, they don’t look for change and are very happy to get their staple diet of films week after week. So, a few people in the industry are worried if the audiences will relate to Allu Arjun’s new role of a wedding planner in Trivikram’s S/O Satyamurthy. Well, wedding planner has become inevitable in urban centres and the people will instantly relate to the character. But in other areas, people might find his role a little alien as marriages are still a family affair and giving the whole affair to a contractor is more or less unheard of. Also, in the past, when Sidardha acted in Nandini Reddy’s Jabardasth, the film ended up being a box-office dud. Naturally this has led to many wondering if Allu Arjun made a wrong decision. However, when it is Allu Arjun and Trivikram, one can expect something that is totally different and totally commercial. We are sure Trivikram’s wedding planner will be more interesting and charming than anything seen in Telugu before.
