Bunny-Puri Jagannath Movie Release Date Out

Puri Jagannath who is riding his direction-horse at a rapid pace this year has signed his next film with Stylish Star Allu Arjun. We already know that the ace director is currently awaiting the release of Devudu Chesina Manushulu and is simultaneously busy with shooting of Pawan Kalyan starrer CGTR.

Puri-Allu Arjun project is said to be launched on October 18^th which is happened to be release date of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu and will undergo a single long schedule for 30 days, with this the entire shooting will come to an end.

This untitled film is scheduled for December last week release as announced by Puri Jagannath who has initiated the new trend of announcing the theatrical launch dates of the movie before starts rolling.

Reportedly, Businessman director has already planned a strict schedule for Allu Arjun film in order to wrap up the film shooting with in the stipulated time and making sure to release it on the said date. Buzz suggests that Shruti Haasan has been zeroed to play the female lead role in this untitled film that is to be produced by gabbar singh producer Ganesh Babu.

Bunny Replaces Jr. NTR

It was expected that young tiger NTR would sign Puri Jagananth's film this year but sources now say that the project has been pushed back to 2013. Nandamuri fans were expecting director Puri to wield the megaphone for their favorite hero but it looks like this formidable combo would come together only in 2013.

NTR's Baadshah was suppose to start in May but the movie was delayed and the shoot will commence from July 1. Also, NTR has Harish Shankar's film scheduled to start from October. So it's highly unlikely that the young tiger will work with Puri Jagannath in this year.

As a result, Puri has decided to work with stylish star Allu Arjun after he wraps up Pawan Kalyan's "Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu". Puri is expected to launch Allu Arjun's film on October 18 and release on December 21.

Goan glamour girl Ileana is excited about her upcoming film ‘Julayi’ and she says that her character in the film has multiple shades.

“My role in the film is quite complex and my character has multiple shades, which keep changing throughout the film”, said Ileana.

‘Julayi’ is all set to hit the screens on July 13th and Trivikram Srinivas is the director of the film.

Bunny-Puri Jagannath Film to Start in October

Here is an update about Allu Arjun's next flick to be directed by Puri Jagannath. The movie will start rolling from October, inform sources close to the director. Puri is currently shooting for the Pawan Kalyan - Tamannah starrer Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu.

The director had earlier announced that CGTR will be releasing on October 18. Looks like the filmmaker is planning to start the untitled Allu Arjun flick soon after. Sources close to the director say that the filmmaker is planning to launch the film on the same day.

Insiders say that Ganesh Babu will be producing the movie on the Parameswara Art Productions banner. The filmmakers are in planning to rope in Shruti Haasan in the lead opposite Allu Arjun. Nothing is finalized though. One thing is for sure, the film has generated quite a lot of curiosity already.

Stylish Star Allu Arjjun’s Julayi shooting has been completed but was left with the song and the actor will commence his regular shooting shortly for the title track. Trivikram Srinivas is wielding the megaphone for this action cum comedy entertainer.

Sudeep is making news for all good reasons related to his first Telugu movie, in a protagonist role, Eega directed by ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli. But amidst the buzz around this film, media and people were left with no clue about his another Tollywood biggie, which he had signed and announced, thus making the audience to erase it from their memories. Well, we are talking about Allu Arjun's Julayi where he was supposed to play an important role.

To rewind to the time when energetic Sudeep started Eega, he tweeted, "Hd a discussion wth Trivikram(dir:Athadu/Khaleja) rergdn a project.Grt guy.Nice feelin to hv Grt directrs frm othr languages,approachin me." In the later days it was revealed that the Kannada actor had signed the project and he would be playing second fiddle in Allu Arjun starrer movie.

But unfortunately the deal was reportedly broken for some reasons, says insiders. It is believed that the delay in the start of Julayi made Sudeep to walk out, as he had many films to complete. In order to avoid date clashes with his films, the actor opted out of the Trivikram Srinivas directorial movie. If reports are to be believed, the 38-year-old has six films to complete before signing his next.

Bunny Lays Road for Charan

Julayi Platinum Disc on July 8th

The release date of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Julayi’ has been confirmed for July 13th and the platinum disc function will take place on July 8th.

The news has been confirmed by the movie’s production unit. The film was supposed to release on July 6th earlier but it has been shifted with mutual understanding as ‘Eega’ is gearing up to hit the screens on the same day.

Post production works of the film are currently underway and Ileana is the heroine in this movie. Trivikram Srinivas has directed this movie and Radhakrishna is the producer. The film’s music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Goan beauty Ileana is confident about her upcoming film Julayi, since it’s a bubbly role that reflects her real self.

“The character I play is very similar to me,” says the actress, who is teaming up with Allu Arjun for the first time.

“His energy is contagious and we had a blast on the sets while shooting,” she adds. Her last two films, Nenu Naa Rakshasi and Shakti, pushed her down a few notches but Ileana is sure of regaining her winning streak with this ‘breezy entertainer’.

She does admit to competition from Tamanna and Samanta, and gracefully takes it in her stride. “Healthy competition is good,” she says.

What is Bunny's Range?

Allu Arjun is going to face the litmus test with Julayi. The actor has been due for a hit for so long and it is high time for him to deliver the goods. With the other two mega heroes setting the box office on fire, Arjun needs to show his capabilities to the fans. Or else he may get sidelined pretty soon.

Allu Arjun has proved to be an actor of certain commercial range. He falls in the 25 crore rupees zone. His hit films tend to collect that much from the theatrical business. Arjun needs to better that now with Julayi. Why because this is the time where films are easily crossing Rs. 40 crore mark with average content.

Bunny Teams up with Rajesh?

Earlier this year, Tollywood actor Allu Arjun's confidantes had confirmed that the actor was indeed looking at a debut in Tamil this year. Now, it seems like the actor is busy talking to directors in K-Town and networking for his debut.
The actor has met quite a few directors in Kollywood, including Selvaraghavan and Rajesh. A source close to Arjun says, "Even though he has had a busy schedule, he has been working on his Tamil debut. He doesn't want to dub his Telugu films in Tamil and release them here. Instead, he wants to work on a bilingual."

Sources in the industry say that the actor wants to ensure he gets the right script and so has been delaying choosing his Tamil project. Director Rajesh, who Arjun has been in touch with, says, "He watched Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and expressed his interest in working with me. I'm currently working on a possible bilingual script."

While Kollywood heroes seem to be eyeing the Tollywood pie by dubbing their films into Telugu, T-Town stars have now begun looking at Kollywood seriously, with straight releases.

Bunny Wants OKOK Director

Telugu actor Allu Arjun, nephew of actor Chiranjeevi, recently hinted about making a debut in Kollywood. In a recent interview he said that he doesn’t allow his producers to dub his films in Tamil as he wants to directly meet the Tamil Nadu audience in a Tamil film.

When asked him who his favourite director was, he said he loved Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and Ajith’s Mankatha very much. “OKOK was unbelievably hilarious. I kept laughing till the end,” said the actor. He also expressed his desire to work with director Rajesh and his team in a full-fledged comedy film.

Sonu Sood who is known for big baddie roles is all set to portray positive roles in a spate of upcoming movies. He is one of the few actors whose career is going strong in Bollywood as well as in T-town.

After winning accolades for films like Arundhati and Dabangg, Sonu is now set to play a tough no-nonsense cop in the upcoming film Maximum.

From playing a heartbroken lover in Aashiq Banaya Apne, to Rajkumar Sujamal in Jodhaa Akbar to Chhedi Singh in Dabangg, he has certainly come a long way playing characters with different shades.

Recently in town for an awards ceremony, Sonu spoke about his back-to-back upcoming releases. After a long time, audiences will see him in a positive role, as Inspector Pratap in Maximum.

“The movie is about Mumbai when encounter cops came into the forefront to put down the baddies. It’s about how Pratap lost his power and then fought back,” he says. “It’s an action film where actors don’t fly in the air after being punched. It’s very realistic,” adds the actor.

In Tollywood, Sonu will be next seen with Allu Arjun and Ileana in the July release Julayi.

Speaking about the movie and his co-star Allu Arjun, he says, “Julayi is an intelligent film. Bunny (Allu Arjun) and I exactly know each other’s mind and try to outdo each other. It was great to work with him and Ileana.”

He will perhaps be essaying the toughest role of his career when he plays underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the much-talked-about film Shootout at Wadala. Stating that he has done a lot of research for the film, Sonu says, “I have read many books on him to get inside the skin of the character.”

His fans, however, haven’t seen him in a romantic role since Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, which was released quite some time back. “I have now built my image and body for action-packed roles. As soon as I get an interesting romantic flick, I’ll be on board,” he says.

Bunny to Step into Kollywood

It has become a hobby for Tollywood actors to come down to K-town aiming high in the Tamil industry. After Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja, now it is his brother-in-law Allu Arjun, who wants to step into Kollywood.

Remember Ram Charan has earlier released the dubbed versions of his highest grocer movies Magadheera [Maaveeran] and Rachcha [Ragalai], which were well received by Tamil audiences. However Allu Arjun is not going to dub his films, but wanted to act in direct Tamil films. “I’ve clearly told all of my producers not to release the dubbing versions of any of my films in Tamil,” says Stylish Star.

Spilling beans further Bunny said, “I’m fairly interested in making my entry into K-town and it will happen soon.” Answering queries he says, “Kollywood has many talented directors, everyone has their own style in delivering the script. And M. Rajesh would be my first choice to work with.” Further Allu Arjun said, “Recently watched Ajith’s Mankatha and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, liked a lot,” he concluded.

If the reports are to be believed, actor Allu Arjun and director-producer Puri Jagananth, who gave 2007 super hit Desamuduru, will soon team up once again.

The film is a big ticket-entertainer and Puri wants to wrap up the film’s shoot in 30 days, it is heard. Ganesh, who is basking in the success of Gabbar Singh, will be the producer.

"The film would be extensively shot at exotic foreign locales since the script has relevance to that location. Shooting will commence in three to four months since Puri is giving finishing touches to his script," a source close to the production house said.

Bunny's Julayi Audio: Review

Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad combination has set a benchmark with some very good audio albums. Arya, Arya 2 and Bunny audios were big hits in those days. Arya and Arya 2 albums will definitely rank among the best works of DSP. Hence, there are high expectations riding on Julayi audio. With Trivikram, who is known for extracting good music, added to the list the expectations are certainly pretty high.

Did Devi Sri Prasad deliver the goods this time? Is Julayi audio worth the wait? Here is our FIR - First impression Report of Julayi album. Devi Sri Prasad, who is fresh from the super success of Gabbar Singh, seems to have tried something different from his comfort zone. Julayi is not usual package of a duet, a mass number and dance number.

All the songs sound situational and give an impression that they are backed up by good situations. DSP scores energetic item numbers for Bunny, but that is missing in this album. Trivikram is against having so called item songs and mass numbers. Julayi too followed the suit. However, DSP made it up by scoring energetic numbers like Osey Osey and Chakkani Bike.

Title song reminds you of Ek Niranjan title song and the first song in Khaleja. Lyrics are pretty interesting in this song. Pakado Pakado song sounds the weakest on album, but we can be assured of Bunny special dance moves given the energetic beats. Malgadi Subha is back after so long. Mee intiki Mundo Gate... will be liked by the youngsters. Again the lyrics take the cake.

O Madhu Madhu is the best of the lot. A typical Devi Sri Prasad's melody which will definitely grow on you in repeated hearings. On a whole Julayi audio is young at heart and is mainly targeted at the young audience. May not be among the best of DSP, but certainly doesn't fall flat. At least three songs have chartbusting appeal and the count should increase depending upon the result of the movie.

Master of dialogues Trivikram Srinivas's latest celluloid 'Julayi' is getting ready to hit the screens on July 6th. The movie has completed its shooting few days back and currently under finale stages of post production. Allu Arjun is performing the title role in Julayi and Ileana is playing heroine beside him.

Bunny Praises Pawan, Talks about His Transformation

Allu Arjun's speech yesterday was packed with panegyrics and more punches.  Even as he praised Pawan Kalyan's inner personality, he took an indirect dig at others.  He said that dancing well and fighting well was not enough to make a star of someone.

"Stardom is a state of mind.  You don't become a star because others praise you to the skies.  In my view, Pawan Kalyan is the real star.  GS is an all-time industry record.  However, no poster is talking about it!  Usually there is jealousy in a corner of a hero's heart.  There is no such thing in him."

It was moralizing on his part to have talked about how he was transformed by Pawan Kalyan's words when he celebrated the flop of a hero's film.  "I was once very happy that the film of a hero (he did not name him) became a flop.  Pawan asked me why I was happy and after I told him the reason for my joy, he explained why I was wrong in harbouring such feelings.  I understand now that jealousy is an unhealthy trait," he said.

Julayi audio function went on very pale and dull as per majority opinion. A lengthy reel was shown about Allu Arjun showcasing the highlight dialogues and dances from all his previous films. A traditional way of commentary in bold male voice is added to it making it further boring.

 

“Aa taram vaariki Allu Ramalingiah gari manavadigaa, aa tarvaathi taram vaariki Allu Aravind gaari abbayigaa, neti tharam vaariki hero gaa……” are the kind of lines sounded in commentary.

 

Adding to this Suma said, “People in Kerala are also watching this audio event as Allu Arjun is called Mallu Arjun there and has huge following as well”.

Fire Accident on Julayi Set

Believe it or not, Allu Arjun escaped with an injury to his thumb today when a fire accident occurred on the sets of Julayi!  The stylish star was shooting along with Brahmaji, for a song, at Ramoji Film City.  An Irani cafe set was erected to shoot the song, which saw fire engulf due to the failure of the fire set-up.  Thankfully, some of the unit members present there did their best in dousing the fires.

There is no description about what happened to Brahmaji.  Surely, it must be much less than what Arjun has suffered, viz., a too small-to-write-about injury to his thumb.  Jokes apart, the good news is that the shooting was resumed after a short period of time.

Bunny's 'Julayi' Audio Songs Launch Today at Hitex, Hyderabad

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s 'Julayi' movie is gearing up for release in this month. The audio of this movie will be launched today at Hitex, Hyderabad. And it is confirmed that Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan are going to grace the event and release the audio of this film as chief guests. 

This will be a great treat for Mega fans as they can see three Mega heroes sharing the same dias after long time. Julayi is a Romantic action entertainer and Allu Arjun is playing youthful  characters in this film. Bunny Cuts 'Kevvu-Keka' from "Julayi"

Bunny Hurts His Back on Julayi Sets

Actor Allu Arjun is well known for his dance moves and his love for this art has landed him in trouble several times. Now, the buzz is that the Tollywood star has hurt his back while shooting a difficult move for a song in his next most-anticipated movie Julayi, thereby delaying the shooting of the movie.

A source from the production team says that Devi Sri Prasad has scored a foot-tapping song, which has been made with a whopping amount of Rs 65 lacs. Dance master Jaani, who has choreographed this song, had composed some very innovative dance moves for Allu Arjun, who was all thrilled to perform them.

But Allu Arjun strained his back on the first day of the shooting of this song. Although he did not suffer any serious injury, the actor was advised rest by the doctors. The makers of Julayi were forced to postpone its shooting for a week. The Badrinath star, who is known for his dedication, did not take much rest. He returned for shooting after a week and did a fabulous job.

However, this is not the first time that Allu Arjun has hurt himself while shooting dance sequence. He has a history of dancing injuries. He was injured himself during the shooting of dance sequences for the movies like Badrinath and Arya 2. He had to undergo a shoulder surgery in Australia. But he has never given his love for dance.

Pawan Kalyan’s Inputs in Bunny's Julayi

How many of you know that the idea of sensational Antakshari episode in Pawan’s recent hit Gabbar Singh was given by Pawan Kalyan? After getting that input from Pawan, Harish Shankar worked on it to make it a wonderful scene. Antakshari scene is one of the main assets for Gabbar Singh. If not for Pawan’s input, that legendary scene wouldn’t have been there.

Directors that worked with him know the creative power of Pawan Kalyan and they like to take his inputs. Trivikram, who is a good friend of Pawan narrated Julayi script to Power star and he gave few instant inputs that would work for the film, as per the buzz.

Bunny Strains His Back

Gen X star Allu Arjun’s love for dancing is weighing on his back, literally. He hurt his back while attempting a difficult move for a number in Julayi forcing the shooting schedule to be pushed back a bit. He has been advised rest by the doctors. “He strained his back but it’s nothing serious. In fact, he returned for shooting after a week of rest and did a fabulous job,” said a source close to the star.

Bunny has a bit of a history of dancing injuries. He had hurt himself while dancing in Arya 2 and Badrinath. He had to undergo a shoulder surgery in Australia and was advised ample rest. He resumed shooting with Julayi after a long period of rest and recovery.

“The actor was excited about the foot-tapping number composed by Devisriprasad. He was ready to burn the floor with dance master Jaani’s innovative moves, but strained his back on the first day itself. We had to postpone the shooting for few weeks. We spent nearly Rs 65 lakh on this song,” said a crew member. The kin of Chiranjeevi, known for his dancing abilities, is going all out to impress his fans in the hope of scoring a smash hit. Rumour has it that Allu Arjun is expected to be dancing at Ram Charan Tej’s upcoming sangeet as well.

It's All Bunny in Julayi's Publicity

From what we see in the posters, the makers of Trivikram Srinivas' Julayi seem to advertise the film as a stylish flick.  In the audio teaser just released, hero Allu Arjun is seen in a breezy and sprightly style, seemingly enjoying his world.  A gaily Arjun is seen dancing his way and giving many other poses.

It is clear that the makers are seeking to publicise the film as an all-out Arjun film because the script essentially revolves around his character.  He is seen in the film as a happy-go-lucky boy whose carefree attitude transforms for good when he bumps into Illeana.

The film's audio is slated for June 10 release.  Expectations on Devi Sri Prasad's music are naturally high.
