So, will Allu Sirish also add up to his brother to make that hit star brothers’ list? When an elder brother makes his place in the film industry as a star, it becomes easy for the younger brother to get opportunities initially, However, it is not that easy to stay in limelight without proving one’s talent. In a recent interview, Allu Sirish talked about the successful brothers and placed himself beside Chiranjeevi-Pawan Kalyan and Suriya-Karthi. Allu Sirish got a hit in the form of ‘Srirastu Subhamastu’ recently, but he is yet to prove his talent as an actor and turn out to be a successful and reliable hero material like his brother Allu Arjun. Long way to go Sirish.

Bunny & Tarak Considered for Gunasekhar’s Next?

Sensible director Gunasekhar was once known for his innovative films and unique narration. Though he suffered a series of failures, Rudhramadevi managed to get decent figures on board which brought back lot of confidence in the ace director. He is currently busy with his next project titled Hiranyakashyapa which will start rolling next year. Gunasekhar already hinted that a star hero will play the lead role in the movie which is about the life story of Bhakta Prahlada. The lead actor will be seen as a the main antagonist which is surprising. As per the latest news, Guna is in plans to rope in either Bunny, NTR or Rana for the lead role. He is said to approach Bunny first and then NTR. If both Tarak and Bunny reject the offer, Gunasekhar is in plans to consider Rana Daggubati for the role. These days all the young actors are in hunt for the roles of antagonists to prove their mettle. Gunasekhar is in plans to convince one among them and wrap up the script before they complete their current commitments. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.

Gunturodu Teaser in Sarrainodu Style

The makers of upcoming action drama ‘Gunturodu’ starring Manchu Manoj has released the teaser of the movie, which is receiving  decent responses by the audiences.  The teaser starts with entry of Manchu Manoj  who beats the goons. It is packed with action sequences and catchy dialogues. Manchu Manoj is seen in mass avatar and the teaser  proves that it will a mass masala entertainer movie. According to netizens the teaser resembles with Stylish star Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu's  teaser. The entry of Manchu Manoj in the teaser is similar as Allu Arjun  in Sarrainodu and the background scores are  also similar. In Gunturodu teaser Manchu Manoj is seen carrying the goon with both hands whereas  Bunny lifted goon by using one hand only. Overall the teaser is impressive. Actress Pragya Jaiswal is playing the female lead. It is directed by SK Satya and produced by Sree Varun Atluri whereas the music is scored by Sri Vasanth.

Dhruva Fails to Beat Bunny's Sarrainodu

The Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh starrer is estimated to have grossed Rs 13 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T), Rs 2.50 crore in Karnataka, Rs 3.25 crore in the US and Rs 2 crore in other parts of the globe. Dhruva has collected approximately Rs 20.75 crore gross at the worldwide box office at the worldwide box office on the first day.

Ram Charan's Dhruva made a good collection at the worldwide box office on the first day, but it has failed to beat the opening day record of Geetha Arts' last release Sarainodu starring Allu Arjun.

Dhruva is the remake of hit movie Thani Oruvan and the success of the Tamil film had created a lot of hype and expectations from the film. Its exciting promos and makers' good publicity strategies generated good buzz. But trade pundits were sceptical on if the movie would be affected by demonetisation, which has continued to cause cash issues for the public.

But the hype and promotion helped Dhruva witness decent advance booking for its opening day. The movie received good response in the benefit shows held in the wee hours of Friday. The positive talk boosted its collection in the regular shows on its opening day and the movie ran to packed houses in several centers in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.

However, the earnings of Dhruva are better than Ram Charan's Govindudu Andarivadele (GAV) in AP/T box office on the first day, but its performance is poorer than his last release Bruce Lee and Allu Aravind's Sarainodu. Mohanlal Beats Bunny

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's latest release 'Pulimurugan' is not just breaking box office records in Kerala but all over the south, which is a first time for the relatively smaller Malayalam film industry.

A Malayalam film grossing Rs 50 Cr is a rarity but Pulimurugan stunned one and all by becoming the first Rs 100 Cr grosser of Malayalam film industry. Not stopping there, the action adventure went on to beat some of the top South Indian blockbusters like Rajamouli's Eega, Ajith's Vedalam and Vijay's Kaththi.

And, the latest blockbuster to get trounced by Pulimurugan is Allu Arjun's biggest blockbuster 'Sarrainodu'. With this feat, the Mohanlal starrer has now become the 4th highest grossing South Indian film of 2016. This feat would look monumental after learning that no Malayalam film has so far entered into the Top-5 South Indian biggest grossers of a year.

At Rs. 129 crore, Pulimurugan is only behind Kabali (Rs. 350 crore), Vijay's Theri (Rs. 175 crore) and Janatha Garage (Rs. 135 crore), which also has Mohanlal in a key role - the top South Indian films of 2016 in descending order.

Pulimurugan was released in Telugu as 'Manyam Puli' and it has posted decent numbers in the Telugu states too.

Bunny’s ‘DJ’ Shooting Stopped Why ??

After a huge blockbuster of his last movie “Sarrinodu” , Allu Arjun has taken enough time to schedule his next movie. ‘DJ’ shooting was going smoothly, news has shocked everyone. According to a latest update, the movie unit has stopped the shooting.

The reason is Allu Arjun has entered into a fatherhood phase. His wife Sneha Reddy has given birth to a baby girl. To enjoy the happy moments, Allu Arjun has decided to take a break from shooting for some time. That is why the shooting has been stopped for few days. As a result, the DJ movie unit has postponed the current schedule.
