A Director Gives Life to Everyone: Bunny

The grand pre-release event of director Sukumar’s latest presentation, Darshakudu, took place in style last night. Allu Arjun was the chief guest at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Bunny heaped praises on his most favorite director in Tollywood, Sukumar.

Referring to the heroine’s dialogue in Darshakudu’s trailer, Bunny said that a stunt master composes fights, a dance master composes songs and actors perform, but a director gives life to everyone in the team. The Stylish Star further said that Sukumar is the very few men he says “I love you” to.

Darshakudu, directed by Hari Prasad, stars debutant Ashok and Eesha as the main leads. The film has been produced by Vijay Kumar, Thomas Reddy and Ravichandra. Darshakudu is releasing on August 4.

Bunny Gave Me a New Life : Sukumar

Sukumar and Allu Arjun have been close friends ever since they first collaborated with each other to make ‘Arya’. The film went on to become a huge success and it was the turning point in both their lives in the film industry.

At the recent event of Darshakudu, a film which Sukumar has produced, Sukumar recalled an incident which occurred while shooting Arya and said that Bunny gave him a new life. “During the shoot, there was a scene which we were supposed to shoot on a boat. In the middle of the shoot, I fell into the river and everyone around me just kept looking at me. Only Allu Arjun jumped into the water to save me from drowning. It’s because of me that he became a hero in real life too,” Sukumar said in a jovial manner.

Darshakudu, starring Ashok, Eesha, is slated for release on August 4. Dil Raju is releasing the film.

I Can Say I Love You Only to Him: Bunny

Filmmakers are taking up new kind of promotions these days.  A star promoting another star's film.. promoting small budget flicks with the help of stars have become a trend in Tollywood now.  It is a good development indeed.  Because many times a small budget movie go unnoticed for lacking proper promotional campaign.  Coming to the present, a top director has produced a film and a star hero is promoting it.

We all know that Sukumar is producing 'Darshakudu' movie.  He is inviting big stars to promote the film.  Stylish Star Allu Arjun attended the pre-release function of 'Darshakudu' yesterday and he made interesting comments about Sukumar. He said that "When Sukumar is producing a film, it is like my own film. Because Sukumar is my friend. We have a great bonding.  If I have to say 'I Love You' to a person among the males.. I will choose only Sukumar."

"If I need to talk about a director... there are several crafts in the movies. The director is the one who gives life to all of them.  I need to tell you one more thing. This is the most difficult among the responsibilities of a director. i.e., 'ego management on the sets'.  Director has to work with everybody.  He has to satisfy everybody's ego.  This is more complex than the direction itself."  He conveyed best wishes to Telugu heroine Eesha.  Similarly, he conveyed all the best to director Hari Prasad entire creative team. 

When the fans were shouting about the 'Arya3'.. he said that  "The hero in Arya is insane,  He became more insane in Arya 2. If he has to make Arya 3, he has to make the film on a mad guy.  If Sukumar prepares a story, I'm ready."

Sukumar & I will Plan Arya 3: Bunny

Allu Arjun has dropped hints that very soon he will be team up with director Sukumar. He also said that this film could be Arya 3. He was speaking at he Darshakudu pre-release event which was held today (July 29) in Hyderabad. 

Allu Arjun was the chief guest of the ceremony. He praised the film. 'Darshakudu' is the film produced by diector Sukumar and Bunny has special bonding with him. 

Sukumar's first film was Allu Arjun starrer 'Arya', which was a phenomenal hit. Thier second combination was Arya 2.

Bunny to Get a Rugged Look for Naa Peru Surya

Allu Arjun is taking a break from the commercial entertainers to go with a more serious tone with Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India in which he plays a military officer. The actor will undergo special training and fitness regime in the United States to undergo a major physical makeover.

A special trainer in the US will focus on getting him the best looking body which is not a six pack ab but rather a fit look, with a slim structure and haircut as most military officers are.

The movie is directed by Vakkantham Vamsi and has an excellent star cast including Allu Arjun, Sarath Kumar, Arjun and Anu Emmanuel. Vishal Shekar composes the tunes for Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India.

Michael Jackson Biopic with Allu Arjun

Fidaa is the latest film which is going unstoppable in reaching to bigger milestones. The film is one of the most successful films in the recent times. The entire cast and crew were present at the film's successful event that was held yesterday in Hyderabad. 

Renowned Actor and director R Narayana Murthy, who is known for his style of film making also attended the event and gave an energetic & enthusiastic speech. The director has heaped praises on Dil Raju, Sekhar Kammula and the entire team for making a very good film.

The actor cum director also praised Allu Arjun and said that he would love to see Dil Raju making a great biopic on legendary dancer Michael Jackson. Narayana Murthy also confessed his love for Bunny's performance and the dancing skills.

Reason Why Bunny Cancelled His US Trip

Allu Arjun was supposed to fly to the US for a month-long training session. Bunny had planned to train under a fitness trainer to get the desired look for his military man’s role in his soon to be commenced film, Naa Peru Surya.

However, it was revealed yesterday that Bunny will not be flying to the US and that a fitness expert will be flown in from America to train Bunny. And here’s the reason why Bunny cancelled his US trip.

Apparently, senior Tamil stars Action King Arjun and Sarathkumar will be acting alongside Bunny in the movie. The Stylish Star’s US trip would have resulted in a severe dates clash and delay of shooting. Hence Bunny decided to train in Hyderabad itself.

Bunny Repeating Chiranjeevi Style!

The way Allu Arjun is tackling certain things related to a film these days is reminding the style of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Especially when it comes to handling a film project, Stylish Star seems to be mimicking the torchbearer of mega clan.

During the good olden days, Chiranjeevi used to assemble writers, get stories created, comedy infused and then used to pick the director. From script to posters work, final edit to release day, literally he used to have a 'mega' say in everything no matter who the director is and who the producer is. 

When some not-so-popular writer gave a line to Chiranjeevi, which reads about an angel coming to earth to fetch a lost ring, he got it developed into a big story through Paruchuri Brothers and handled screenplay job to Satyanand. Then he got Jandhyala on board to write comedy scenes. Finally, they got Raghavendra Rao to direct the movie and went to Ooty for music sittings along with Ilayaraja for the tunes. This is one example through Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari movie. 

Cut to Allu Arjun now, he has chosen Boyapati Sreenu and the brought Rishi Punjabi as cinematographer and chose some of popular to choreograph songs. That's how Sarrainodu went and later repeated same with DJ Duvvada too. For "Naa Peru Surya" now, he's sitting with Vishal-Sekhar in Mumbai for music, then heading to the USA for physical training, already busy planning about other cast and crew as well. With himself taking so much into hands regarding a film and calling shots about the release as well, sure he's mimicking Chiranjeevi. 

But such calls need huge experience and we hope Allu Arjun is making smart and careful moves.

Bunny’s Late Night Dinner with Her

Allu Arjun had been busy promoting his recent release ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ and hence was found everywhere with his director Harish Shankar and producer Dil Raju, even in the recent USA tour.

Now, the actor has taken some time off from his busy schedule and took his wife to a late night dinner in Mumbai. The duo is spotted coming out of a restaurant and was clicked by the paparazzi. Bunny on the Sets of Golmaal Again

Allu Arjun enjoys immense popularity up North. In fact, before Baahubali, he was probably one of the few actors from South to enjoy a level of familiarity in North India. Bunny's Marvellous Speech on Traffic Awareness

Stylish Star Allu Arjun delivered an outstanding speech at Traffic Awareness Campaign today. Bunny and top director Rajamouli attended the Traffic Awareness Meet as chief guests. 

Addressing the gathering Allu Arjun said he was happy sharing the dais with Rajamouli who scored the biggest blockbuster of India. 

Allu Arjun said he followed three things in life and appealed all others to follow them.

'International organizations judge the standards of a country by testing sanitation and traffic. So, what we are reflects in our country. If I take a right turn to another street at the end of my street, I can reach my friend's house. But then, it was a one way. As such, I take another route to catch him though it's a bit longer in distance. I feel I am the change. Although my friends advised me to take a short cut, I just observed traffic rules and my driver was inspired by me.

Secondly, I would appeal you to don't drink and drive. You may enjoy your nights with drinking. But you shouldn't drive after being drunk. If at all you go in groups for partying, you make sure a teetotaler is with you to bail you out of from journeying troubles. You may also prefer Ola cabs, taxis or any other means of transport to reach homes safely. 

Thirdly, you must have control over steering of your car. If you hold a steering, you must understand the fact that not only your life but also others lives are also at risk. Our mistake may result in a huge loss to another family. As such, you ensure safe driving,' said Allu Arjun.

Bunny, Charan Team up with Sachin

Stars are taking interest in sports as well. Mega family has teamed up with Sachin Tendulkar and Nimmagadda Prasad. They now own a Kabaddi team.

This is not the first time that they have joined hands together. Earlier they were co-owners os Keral Blasters soccer team in Football league.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun said that he is immensely happy as City Traffic Police have invited him to this seminar of Trafffic organised in ‘Satyasai Nigamagamam’. Addressing on this occasion, “We should change first and then observe traffic rules next. You may enjoy but don’t be drunk and drive. If necessary safety precautions like booking a cab or appointing a driver should be observed. Likewise, awareness on traffic should be brought in. Even though everybody is aware of traffic rules, nobody observes. Youth should observe traffic rules to be role models to one and all”, he has said.

Dil Raju said, "I will never give wrong collections about my films. Duvvada Jagannadham has crossed Allu Arjun’s career biggest hit Sarrainodu’s collections. So it is up to everyone to decide if Duvvada Jagannadham is a hit or flop. As a producer, I am also liable to my buyers and exhibitors’ losses. I succeeded as a producer with Duvvada Jagannadham and that’s why I stated that it is my hat-trick film in 2017. Whenever I make a statement, there’s some value to it. I never inflated my films’ collections and will never do it in future."

Duvvada Jagannadham, which also starred Pooja Hegde apparently is the third Rs. 100 crore grosser for Allu Arjun.

Heroine Confirmed for Bunny's Next

We have already reported that Allu Arjun’s next film, Naa Peru Surya, will kick-start its shooting from the first week of August. Writer Vakkantham Vamsi is making his directorial debut with this film.
As per the latest update, the makers have confirmed that young Malayali beauty Anu Emmanuel has been roped in to play the female lead opposite the Stylish Star. Lagadapati Sridhar will produce the movie. Anu Emmanuel will next be seen in Pawan-Trivikram’s film and Gopichand’s Oxygen.

Regular Shooting Date Confirmed for Bunny's Next

Allu Arjun completed his movie, Duvvada Jagannadam and is getting ready to start his next with Vakkantham Vamsi, titled Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, as the tagline.
The film launched a few days ago, and now it is heard that the film’s regular shooting will be commenced from August first week. The director recently completed the pre-production works and is all set to begin shooting.

The makers have yet to finalize the actress and several actresses’ names are making rounds on social media. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

The Hindi Dubbed Version of Sarrainodu Garners Over 50 Million Views

Rashmika Mandanna Clarifies about being Part of Naa Peru Surya

14th Day Collection of DJ Duvvada Jagannadham, Bunny Starrer Passes 2 Weeks Excellently

As expected Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s latest offering Duvvada Jagannadham got amazing response from fans as well as audience and emerged as another big hit of his career. The movie stars Pooja Hegde opposite to Arjun and everyone found their chemistry very sizzling.

Beside favorable reaction of audience, from most of the critics also Duvvada Jagannadham has received positive reviews and gained good word of mouth. As a result, the movie remained strong throughout it’s journey so far across Telugu states and overseas as well.

In the second weekend, Harish Shankar’s directorial showed good performance and raked the business of 9.75 crores that included 3.10 crores of Friday, 3.25 crores of Saturday and 3.40 crores of Sunday from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Then in weekdays, despite usual drops it remained good and minted the amount of 2.50 crores on Monday, 2.20 crores on Tuesday and 2 crores on Wednesday. On the next day i.e. Thursday, Duvvada Jagannadham garnered 1.75 crore and collected total 18.20 crores in the second week.

While in the opening week, this Telugu action comedy did the excellent business of 54.25 crores at AP/T box office, with 35.35 crores in weekend and 18.90 crores in weekdays. With this, total 2 weeks total collection of the movie has become 72.45 crores from Telugu states.

Not only from south Indian regions but from overseas market too, Duvvada Jagannadham got quite impressive business so far and grossed around 130 crores at worldwide box office in 2 weeks.

Bunny’s Rare Record in Nizam

The movie Duvvada Jagannadham has been collecting revenue in all the domestic regions even after its second weekend. The latest numbers of Nizam is blowing the minds of trade analysts.

Nizam is one area which can generate a heavy revenue on par to overseas if the movie has the right content. Proving the mega fans of Nizam as best, the flick DJ has grossed Rs 10 crores just in the first weekend. The mixed talk doesn’t even affect one percent of the collections, especially in Nizam area. After the 12th day of its run, the movie has crossed the magical mark of 20 crores of share. This is the first movie in the career of Allu Arjun to cross 20 crores of share. But the director Harish Sankar already had a movie called Gabbar Singh which crossed 20 crores at that time other than Magadheera. The movie is still running decently in almost all the released areas. As there are new releases on this Friday, today is the last day that DJ can get the maximum collections in Nizam. Allu Arjun has now become the most bankable Nizam hero just like the megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

The entire team of DJ is happy with these figures especially the Producer Dil Raju being the distributor of Nizam is thrilled with this response to form his locals.

Bollywood critic and controversial social media personality Kamal R Khan doesn’t hesitate to post controversial lines.

When Sardar Gabbar Singh was dubbed in Hindi, he took to his twitter handle and wrote all negative things about Pawan Kalyan.

But later when Baahubali went on to become an industry hit, he rendered apologies to Rajamouli and team.

Nani Walks in Bunny's Path

Natural Star Nani, in his media interaction, revealed details of his upcoming projects. Talking to the media, the young hero said that he is going to be a part of Hanu Raghavapudi and Merlapaka Gandhi's next films. 

The actor is currently busy with the shooting of Venu Sriram's project. Revealing some interesting things about Hanu Raghavapudi's film, Nani said that it will be completely different from the one they already collaborated for. Both of them teamed up for 14 Reels Entertainments production Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha.

Nani said that the movie is going to have a military backdrop and will be completely different from his previous films. Nani is also expected to change his look for the film. The movie is going to begin in the first half of the coming year. Allu Arjun is also going to be seen as a military officer in his next with Vakkantham Vamshi.

After creating a storm at the Telugu box-office with earnings of over Rs 100 crore in just a week since its release, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ is confirmed to release in dubbed Malayalam version in Kerala on July 14. Arjun has a very strong fan base in Kerala after his last film Sarrainodu went on to strike goldmine in the state. Despite opening to very mixed reviews, the film went on to be a blockbuster in Telugu, leaving everybody in trade completely bamboozled.

In the film, Arjun plays a brahmin chef, and he apparently took his role so seriously that he gave up eating meat, while shooting the portion where he plays the chef, as he wanted to get under the skin of the character and stay pure. His dedication stunned the entire unit, including his director and co-star Pooja Hegde, who plays his love interest. The film marked the first time collaboration of Arjun and director Harish Shankar, best known for helming Gabbar Singh.

The film registered one of the best openings for Arjun, who continues his winning streak after last year’s blockbuster Sarrainodu. Produced by Dil Raju, the film marks his third hit in a row with Arjun after Arya and Parugu. DJ released in around 1500 screens worldwide and is going strong everywhere.

Bunny to Clash with Sreesanth?

Sreesanth the former test cricketer from Kerala is all set to face his first ‘test’ match off the field. His “Team 5” will be locking horns with team “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” which has Allu Arjun, Harish Shanker and Dil Raju. Let us see which team wins.

Sreesanth is making his debut on the silver screen as the hero of the Malayalam film “Team 5” which is all set to hit the big screens on 14th July 2017. On exactly the same date Dil Raju plans to release the Malayalam version of “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” in Kerala. This is going to be quite a battle to watch. The cricketer Sreesanth is not exactly a non-entity in Kerala. The man does has his own fan following. But whether the fan following will come in handy in his new avatar as a film hero or not is the moot question. Bunny on the other hand has already proven himself with successes at the Kerala box office and is known to have a good fan following there.

We just have to wait and see who wins the ‘test’ match. Incidentally the Telugu version of Sreesanth’s “Team 5” is hitting the screens in Telangana and AP on the same date – 14th July 2017.

After Duvvada Jagannadham, Actor Rao Ramesh is in Demand

The actor’s role in Allu Arjun’s DJ is getting  him a lot of acclaim

Along with the lead pair of Duvvada Jagannadham, actor Rao Ramesh too, is getting a lot of praise for the film. Interestingly, he played the character of Royyala Naidu, originally played by his father Rao Gopala Rao in Aa Okkati Adakku. 

“I get emotional when people compare me with him. This film is a milestone in my career and I should thank director Harish Shankar for the wonderful character,” says the actor. 

Ramesh is Now busy with many upcoming films, including Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram, and Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva’s next. “Recently, I was shooting in Araku and people were calling me Royyala Naidu, which shows how the character has stayed with the audience. It gave me a good name, but there is still a lot to do and achieve,” says the actor. 

Like his father, Rao Ramesh is very popular for his versatile dialogues and diction in any accent. Apart from the two big films, the actor has five to six other films in the pipeline.

Now that Bunny is busy with the promotions of DJ in the US, the works for the release of DJ’s Malayalam version is in full swing. The latest we hear is that the film will release on the 14th of this month and Bunny has special plans up his sleeve.

As Bunny has a huge fan following in the state of Kerala, some special pre-release events are being planned and Bunny will be present and interact with his fans during this time.

The talk is also that Allu Arjun will also give away media interviews in Kerala to promote his film. The youth, in particular, is a huge fan of Bunny and is crazy about his films and we need to see what kind of reception does Bunny get with DJ.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is basking in the success of his recent release Duvvada Jagannadham. Earlier, the movie has received a flop talk among the audience but it is shattering the box office. Sources informed, Duvvada Jagannadham is another great achievement in Allu Arjun’s career.

You people may ask how? Here it is: According to Trade analyst, the movie has earned over Rs.60 Cr in worldwide share and Rs.50 Cr is from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh within one week. In the first week, very few movies have entered into Rs.50 or 100 Cr club. Till now, these were movies who have entered into above Rs.50 Cr club Baahubali 2-117 Cr, Baahubali-The Beginning-61 Cr, Khaidi No.150-56 Cr.

Now, Allu Arjun’s is landing in the fourth position with Duvvada Jagannadham. Though the movie is a routine script people are loving to watch because for the first time the actor had seen in Brahmin avatar. Watch the space for more updates.

 

Reviewers Should Respect Our Cinema - Bunny

Continuing his hardcore backlash at Review Writers for literally ripping apart "DJ Duvvada Jagannadham" which has collected nearly 66+ crores share in 10 days from the worldwide box office, Allu Arjun made some sharp comments yet again. 

While travelling on a chartered flight from Chicago to another destination in Bay Area, USA, Bunny expressed that both rating system and pushing audiences to watch a film basing on that rating system is wrong.  "Cinema is an emotion. How can you rate an emotion? Can you rate your mother with those star ratings? Even you can't rate a cinema like that. At the same time, giving some stars and pushing that onto audiences is also not good. How can you say that NRI audiences will only like a film with this many star-ratings?" asked Bunny, upright.

"Most review writers don't have respect on 'commercial cinema'. Because they can't watch a mixed genre film and habituated to watching only single genres. Our films have all the genres included. We've Dances means music genre, Fights cater to the action genre, love belongs to the romance genre, twists are thriller genre and sentiment brings drama genre. Is there any film with five-genres mixed? Even Titanic has only two genres, romance and drama" he said, explaining the commercial factor of Telugu films. 

Elaborating the multi-genre concept further, he said "Multi-genre film is a unique theme carved by South Indian filmmakers and it's unfortunate that our reviewers can't own it. Even, having an interval in a movie is a unique thing created by us. Foreigners go shell-shocked with this aspect and no English screenplay writer even thinks about an interval".

And Bunny concludes by taking an example of Baahubali. "Even Baahubali is rated great film because it is a multi-genre movie. We're Indians and we don't like eating single dish for lunch. We need all varieties from biryani to fry to soda for lunch. So we have to own this multi-genre format and promote it. I request review writers to respect this uniqueness and write reviews", he said, wrapping up.

Bunny Makes Interesting Comments on Titanic

Stylish star Allu Arjun makes some interesting comments about the Hollywood film, he compares his latest outing Duvvada Jagannadham with the classic Hollywood film Titanic.

In an interview in a charter flight from Chicago to Bay area He said, DJ is a multi-genre commercial film, it has songs which means Musical genre, has Fights which means Action genre, has Love which means Romantic genre, Twists which means Thriller genre, and Sentiment which means Drama genre. He asked to show a 5 genre film in the world.

Taking Titanic film as example He said, It has only two genres – Love and Drama genre. While the Telugu films and South Indian films have multi genres. These multi genres films are the originality of South Indian and cannot be seen anywhere in the world. One should own our uniqueness, said the stylish star.

Kamaal Khan Quips at Bunny

The big mouth, Bollywood critic, and Box Office Tracker Kamaal R Khan has never been silent for a while, the man comes up with something new. This time, the self-claimed critic attacks another South Indian star.

Kamaal Khan quips at Stylish star Allu Arjun calling him a “Lukkha” and went on to the extent of telling to come to Bollywood to do small films.

'Bunny is a dedicated artist. He keeps his heart and soul into the work. He is a thorough professional  and if there is a song to be canned, he starts practicing it four days prior the shoot and ensures that he gets all the dance movements right.

He believes in this mantra – Practice makes a man perfect. And yes, he is a perfectionist when it comes to dances. It is very difficult to match up with his dance.

The way audience laud his efforts today by seeing him dance on screen is due to the hard work that he puts behind the screen,' said Catherine.

Right from childhood, Bunny is mad about movies. With this madness came hard work and dedication towards the art.

Born and bought up watching Chiranjeevi movies and dances, Bunny developed love for dance and started working from his childhood.

Way to go Bunny, with this hard work and dedication levels added with discipline, you will go places.

In a recent interview to promote Mom, Sridevi was asked about why she refused a role in Baahubali (that went to Ramya Krishnan). While she replied that some roles are not just meant for every star, she also revealed her annoyance towards SS Rajamouli for making it sound like she was very demanding in one of his interviews. She said, “I was shocked and hurt by his interview. Rajamouli is a calm and dignified person. I was very happy to (have got a chance to) work with him. But, the way he spoke about the issue made me feel very sad.”

Dileep questioned for 13 hours by cops

In his alleged involvement in the Malayalam actress abduction case, actor Dileep and his friend and director Nadirshah were questioned by the cops for more than 13 hours. Dileep later told the media that he was happy with the police investigations and he gave his full co-operation. Meanwhile the actress was planning to sue him for his allegations that she was close to the main accused, and this led to the infamous incident.

Bunny to Holiday in Alaska?

Allu Arjun is currently in the US to promote Duvvada Jagannadham. The film has collected over 100 crore gross worldwide in its first weekend. After meeting his fans in Chicago, Bunny will be flying to New Jersey today for the next round of promotions.

According to the latest reports, Bunny will head to Alaska for a short holiday after he completes his promotional tour in the US. Bunny will join his parents and uncle Chiranjeevi and aunt Surekha, who are already in the US. The Stylish Star will return to Hyderabad and begin shooting for Naa Peru Surya.

Bunny Takes Fourth Spot with Awesome Record

Allu Arjun’s latest offering “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” is amazing everyone in more ways than one. It created a record for opening collections for the hero, the director and the producer. Now it adds yet another feather in their cap with another record.

The film had the highest opening day collections for the hero and indeed the whole team. Thereafter it quickly crossed the Rs.75 crore mark. That is where the next awesome record lies. Allu Arjun’s “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” has the fourth highest collections for the first week. It is only the fourth film to collect more than RS.50 crores in the first week. The three films which preceded it of course fetched out of the world collections. Check out the list of Tollywood films that did more than Rs.50 crores in the first week.

At first place is of course the invincible “Bahubali – The Conclusion” with Rs.117 crores. The second place is the prequel to that film “Bahubali – The Beginning” with Rs.61 crores in the first week. The third place goes to the indefatigable Mega Star Chiranjeevi with his “Khaidi No 150” which collected Rs.56 crores in the first week. Then comes Bunny’s latest “DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham” with a little over Rs.50 crores. That is an awesome record considering that it started with a flop talk.

Allu Sirish who has hosted the IIFA Utsavam and Filmfare Awards in past,  was
spotted hosting the ongoing South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2017) yesterday night with Roshan, in Abu Dhabi. Interestingly,  Allu Sirish was seen in  the outfit of his  brother stylish star Allu Arjun’s DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham on the stage. He evoked huge interest with his attire itself. It was so amazing to see the way he molded himself in this gateup. He sported a rudraksh around his neck and was dressed in dhoti. His comic timing and ease with throwing joke on other stars are making him a  good host.

On the work-side, currently Allu Sirish is busy in his ongoing untitled project under  the direction of VI Anand, which is progressing at brisk pace in and around Hyderabad. The makers are considering  the title ‘Ye Nimisham Emjaruguno’ for the film. Two actresses Surabhi and Seerat Kapoor are playing female lead.

Bunny’s Presence to Boost up US Collections

Allu Arjun’s latest film, DJ opened to some very mixed reviews all over. The action entertainer is currently in its second week and collections have slowed down a bit in the US especially during the second week.

So, to promote the film, even more, Bunny and his team have landed in the US and have already started their successful tour in New Jersy. Durig this weekend, the team will travel to different places in the US and this will surely boost the collections even more.
