Telugu film industry's young superstar Allu Arjun's upcoming film Race Gurram stars our own Sruthi Haasan as the lead heroine. The film also has a well known Tamil actor in its cast. It is none other than actor Shaam who has acted in many Telugu films in powerful supporting characters.

As per sources Shaam has a pivotal role in this film as the elder brother of Allu Arjun. Both the actors play character with negative shades and they keep quarrelling throughout the film.   Shaam also has a lady love in the film played by Saloni.

With Allu Arjun's Race Gurram slated for release on April 11, the filmmakers are busy overseeing the post production works of the film in Hyderabad. The buzz in the film's unit is striving hard to ensure that the film's first cut is ready by Monday. 

Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan are playing the lead roles in the movie. The dup have been the talk of the town since the first look stills of the movie were released. Thaman has compose the music of the film which has generated a big buzz online. 

Dr Venkateswara Rao and Nallamalapu Bujji are jointly producing the movie featuring actress Saloni in a prominent role. The director of the film Surrender Reddy is sparing no effort to ensure the film lives up to the expectations. 

Race Gurram & Legend Songs Create New Records

The audio songs of Balakrishna's 'Legend' and Allu Arjun's 'Race Gurram' released lately have been received very positively by the listeners.

Lahari Music has released both these audios and Manohar Naidu, the owner of Lahari music, is very happy at the response for these songs.  " We have waited for our re-entry into the market with a prestigious film and released '1 Nenokkadine' audio. It has created records regarding sales and those songs and caller tunes were downloaded in record numbers in mobiles. Even now, '1 Nenokkadine' songs are being downloaded. We have released the songs of both 'Legend' and 'Race Gurram' recently and they have got much more responses than we expected. They are creating records digitally. We are very happy at the super successes of the audios of the first three films in our re-entry", Manohar said.

" We thank producers for trusting us and listeners for the amazing responses. We will also release the audio of Mahesh Babu and Sreenu Vaitla's 'Aagadu'. In the future, Lahari music will release songs of good films, whether big or small", he added.

They say that Bunny requested for a month break unlike their actual plan of starting the shoot in April. As our hero's loving wife Sneha is to deliver a baby in April, the first schedule of this flick will be started in May first week. So, Bunny's new movie under Trivikram's direction had just one month break before it races into sets.

The whole of 'Julayi' team will be repeated for this second joint venture of Bunny and Trivikram, except for the heroine. Julayi is one of the biggest ever blockbusters in Bunny's illustrious career and the combo are expected to break their own record.

It's bad news for Bunny and his fans as director Rajamouli teaming up with him turn out to be false. Director S.S Rajamouli, who never minces his words, himself rubbished these as baseless. Jakkanna made it clear that he has no other plans until he wrap up his present commitment Baahubali. Buzz had it that Rajamouli and Bunny held meetings for their collaboration.

Quickly reacting to them, Rajamouli clarified through his Twitter post, "Though I (would) love to work with Bunny (Allu Arjun), there hasn't been any plan or talks yet. All you see are mere speculations. (I) won't be planning anything till 'Baahubali' is over."

Tollywood's ace director SS Rajamouli has yet again put an end to the speculation that was floating in the Filmnagar for the past couple of days. It was in the air that, Stylish Star Allu Arjun will be doing his next with Rajamouli and the script for this was also finalized. But rubbishing all the rumors Rajamouli clarified that he is busy with Baahubali and will take a decision on his next project only after he is done with Baahubali.

“Though I luv2 work wid bunny,ther hasn't been ny plans r talks yet.al u c r mere speculations. won't b plannin nythin till #Baahubali is over,” tweeted Rajamouli in his micro blogging account.

In this tweet, we can clearly say that Rajamouli is looking forward to work with Bunny. Who knows, we might expect the combination. Fingers crossed!

Allu Arjun, who is expecting a baby soon, has posted a picture of his wife Sneha Reddy's baby bump on his Facebook. The actor tweeted "Expecting anytime now", and this is the second time Bunny has posted a picture of Sneha Reddy's baby bump on the social networking site.

Bunny is currently participating in the promotional campaigns of his forthcoming action entertainer Race Gurram, directed by Surender Reddy. 

Bunny,NTR Vying for Remake Rights

Sandalwood's sensational hit Ugramm is not just grabbing the attention of the local audience but also creating a lot of interest among Tollywood circles.

There has been a huge demand to own the remake rights of Ugramm amongst a few Tollywood makers and chances are bright that the film could be remade in Telugu. If the grapevine has to be believed, Tollywood heroes Allu Arjun and NTR Jr are competing with each other to snap the remake rights of Ugramm.

Sources say the actors are bowled over by the film's script and evincing a lot of interest to act in its remake. Recently, a special screening of the film was arranged for Bunny and NTR Jr separately at a local preview theater and our young heroes were apparently highly impressed with the movie and approached the makers of the Kannada film to talk about the remake rights.

The film released on February 21 in Karnataka and features Sri Murali, Hari Priya in the lead roles. We have to wait for a few days to know who's going to grab the remake rights of Ugramm, Bunny or NTR.

Bunny Better than Chiranjeevi?

Allu Arjun has now been compared to none other than Rajinikanth. That comparison was made at a promo for Race Gurram. Those who spoke at the event said Rajinikanth has a huge global fan following and so does Bunny. People who attended the event did not comment during the function but there was a lot of talk after the promo was over. 

 

“If Allu Arjun is equal to Rajanikanth, then does that make him better than uncle Chiranjeevi?” was the question being asked. Allu Arjun has tasted success in Malayalam too, so he is being compared to Rajinikanth. 

 

However, in reality, apart from the South, does anybody know Allu Arjun in other parts of the country? He is still a growing star and Rajinikanth is a legend. Comparison should have its limits, was the overall opinion during the function.

Trivikram Srinivas is not in the good books of Mega family these days. His close association with Pawan Kalyan and active participation in Jana Sena Party irked the Mega family to peaks and this effect is seen on Trivikram's next with Allu Arjun too. The project was launched several days ago but Trivikram totally ignored the script work and busy with other works. Now that Allu Arjun completed the shooting of Race Gurram and is ready to shoot for Trivikram film but nothing is ready. Allu Arjun reportedly is not at all happy with Trivikram and gave him a deadline to complete the script. If the ace director could not come up with a satisfactory script by then, the project may be well called off. If the project is confirmed, then it will be produced by Radhakrishna on his Haarika and Hassini films banner. Bunny has Improved from Film to Film: Brahmanandam

Comedian Brahmanandam, who has starred with actor Allu Arjun in almost all his films since his debut, says the latter has improved as an artist over the years. The duo has now come together for upcoming Telugu actioner "Race Gurram".

"I have worked with him since his debut. I consider him talented not because he's from megastar Chiranjeevi's family, but because I have seen him improve as an actor from film to film. Not many actors have grown constantly in their respective careers," Brahmanandam told IANS.

Arjun is Chiranjeevi's nephew. He has starred in films such as "Gangotri", "Desamuduru" and "Julayi".

In "Race Gurram", Arjun and Brahmanadam play partners in a police department.

"I play his assistant in the film and scenes between us are a laugh riot. I'm extremely happy with the character because it's something I haven't played in a long time. I'm sure audiences are going to love watching us together on screen," he added.

Directed by Surendar Reddy, "Race Gurram" is slated for a summer release. It also features Shruti Haasan, Saloni Aswani, Ravi Kishan and Prakash Raj.

Finally much awaited trailer of the season Rac Gurram’s trailer is out, though audio function happened few days back and trailer was also screened at the venue but it was not released into the net, yesterday whole Race Gurram team along with SS Thaman and his troop released this trailer in a college fest at Rajmundry,  finally trailer is out into net and is getting mixed response from the viewers.

While after looking at the trailer everyone is talking about Surrender Reddy’s taking which need no special mention, main attraction for the trailer is how ever Allu Arjun himself, his  expression   while  uttering Devuda is good and looks like makers have given high scope for comedy in the script, trailer promises entertainment, on the flip side action episodes look  disappointing, it is generally believed that best scenes are shown in trailer, all action episodes shown in Race Gurram trailer are highly  disappointing especially one shot where Bunny jumps on the car.

Overall a very pleasing trailer from the makers which has certainly created positive impression on the movie though not in full scale.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram movie will hit the big-screens on April 11 worldwide. Surender Reddy directed the film.

The theatrical trailer of Race Gurram has been released on February 23 at GIET College, Rajamundry by Allu Arjun, and it garnered good response. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady in the movie. Saloni played an important role along with Brahmanandam, Ravi Kishan, Kick Shyam.

Race Gurram is touted to be an out and out entertainer and the film is doing a good pre-release business at the box-office. Nallamalapu Bujji and Dr Venkateswara Rao are jointly producing the movie under Lakshmi Narasimha productions banner. Thaman has composed the tunes and Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer.

Thaman Outsmarts Legend with Race Gurram?

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Legend' audio was launched some days ago. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music of the movie. The songs were composed to suit the tastes of Balakrishna's fans. Obviously, Balayya's fans impressed with the songs. However, the songs are yet to be received well by other sections of the people. On the other side, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Race Gurram's audio was recently launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi. Thaman has scored the music of the movie. Soon after the release of the audio CDs, there has been a great response for the music from all corners from all sections of the people. The reason is that the songs were the nice mix of fast beats and melodious numbers. Currently, 'Race Gurram' songs top the chart busters. It is interesting to watch how well the songs were shot in the movie. The movie is hitting the screens on April 11.

No Bunny and Cherry for Chiru

If the last general election memories are freshly reminded, we can see the evolution of Praja Rajyam Party with Mega Star Chiranjeevi and whole lot of Mega heroes campaigned for the party. In fact, those times were very glamorous with presence of Pawan Kalyan calling for ‘Panchelu Oodadeesi Kottandi’ while Bunny, Cherry participated in many of the PRP promotion events trying to give an edge for Chiranjeevi’s political career. However, the result was disamal and they are left with no option than merging the party in Congress. This time also the situation is same because instead of PRP we have Jana Sena Party of Pawan Kalyan reiterating the same formula of social justice and enlightening the voters on questioning the non performing political leaders. Of course, the difference is neither of Mega family will come out in public to lend their support either for Power Star's Jana Sena or for Chiru's Congress. In fact, Charan and Bunny the leading stars of Mega family are keeping away from Jana Sena and no way are they interested in politics at this moment.

Allu Arjun, along with the film’s director Surender Reddy, Thaman, Ali and others interacted with the students and launched the trailer. Speaking on the occasion Allu Arjun said, He always give his 100% to any work taken up by him, He has many inspiring personalities in cinema industry and many competitors , but He feels that his is the only competitor to himself. He said, Chiranjeevi is more than his life for him. He uttered Pawan Kalyan’s name after thousands of students pressured him to speak about Pawan, He said, ‘I known that without taking Pawan Kalyan’s name , you(students) might not allow me to leave the Rajahmundry, I like Pawan Kalyan’. Shruthi Haasan and Saloni are playing female lead roles opposite to Bunny in this movie. Surender Reddy is directing the movie. Nallamalupu Bujji is producing the movie. Mixed with all those regular antics of Allu Arjun, trailer looks classy with Surender Reddy's style of conceiving scenes, and stunning visuals filmed by cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa. The movie is all about a guy Lucky, played by Bunny, his police officer brother Shyam and their feud. All the actors are looking quite energetic and terrific with their performances in the trailer. Stylish Star Allu Arjun's much awaited movie 'Race Gurram's theatrical trailer was unveiled by the makers on 23rd of March. Allu Arjun has simply rocked with his energetic performance,stylish dialogues and awesome dancing steps. 'Gala gala' and 'Cinema choopistha maava' clippings were shown in this trailer. The way Allu Arjun utters the word 'Devudaa' in a comic sequence with Shruthi appears funny and interesting. As per the story it is understood that there will be a conflict between two brothers wherein Bunny plays younger brother's role while 'Kick' Shyam is seen as elder brother. Director Sekhar Kammula takes his own time in wrapping up a film. He never worries about how many days his film was shot or he doesn't care about the opponent films when his film is about to release. His Anand movie clashed with Shankar Dada MBBS and became successful.

Everyone talked about Sekhar Kammula's guts when he pitted his ultra low budget movie against Shankar Dada. But his gamble paid off and Anand caught the attention. The students of GIET College enjoyed the privilege of watching the first trailer of Allu Arjun's much talked about release Race Gurram. The atmosphere at the annual college festival was electric and the students cheered Allu Arjun who was the chief guest at the event.

The actor's speech received a thunderous applause from the students present at the jam packed college precincts. Allu Arjun confirmed that the film will be releasing on April 11. A few songs of the film were blaring at the event and music director Thaman's tunes had the students swaying. 

Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in what promises to be a stylish action thriller directed by Surender Reddy. Nallamalupu Srinivas and Venkateswara Rao are jointly producing the movie under Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner.

Bunny-Trivikram Movie Stands Canceled

Dialogue wizard Trivikram Srinivas was supposed to do a movie with Bunny post Race Gurram release. However, in the wake of change in the political land scape of Andhra and Telangana as well as formation of Jana Sena there are rumors that the movie stands called off.

Bunny’s first movie with Trivikram was Julayi and it was a super hit movie raking in 40 crores, first time in the career of Bunny.

After Race Gurram the supposed movie should have started rolling but Trivikram has got busier than ever penning political scripts (for Jana Sena chief Pawan) rather than movie scripts!

It seems very doubtful when will Trivikram start focusing on his profession, since it was said that he will take a plunge into mainstream politics! This is not announced yet, but its unlikely.
